I suppose its because of the character has been written that way.... He does not really know how to please a girl and always takes advice from Zhong Li and the books.... that is why that those intense kind of scenes are not written in my opinion... one more reason is that they must have shown the flashbacks of their decade long romance or interactions, or at least some sparks between them while they are solving the problems together, which is their in the novel I guess.... In the TV series if they were saying its a decade long love story, then they would have reduced the family politics part and must have focused a little more on the love story ..... I feel its TV series writing/screenplay problem/issue..... The acting from ML or from both leads is believable and good.... I think...

Just curious to know... as I heard there is no soultaker sect in the novel, so is the purpose/actions of YWY in the novel is to rule the world ? and he betrays everyone in the end even Huang Chao ?

OMG you are still at episode 14.... Its still nothing... I just saw episode 40 and its freaking awesome.... I can clearly see the complete teammate in YPY and his maturity and humbleness from episode 30 or so..... I am sure you are gone a love it....
