Oh and btw, I have dropped shows bc of him. Not gonna lie, it wasn't that easy to do when I already had watched a couple of episodes and started to enjoy the show, and then he appeared on the screen. Lots of thougths, and mixed feelings you know. First thought - drop the show immediately. The next one - but what did the rest of the cast and staff do to be boycotted? Back and forward for a while. But still, they shouldn't have hired him in the first place only to make it hard on everyone involved, viewers included.
Can you tell me more? They know and watch the shows he's in and think nothing of it? Or do they think he is innocent? Or, do people in general think it's a lesser crime somehow? I would be thankful for any explanation as it's bothering me a lot these days. I know very little about her but I did read about her tragedy. Very sad! Celebs, you and me, we are all susceptible and for whatever reason sometimes we aren't as strong as we think. I have lost good friends to life's hardships. So, commenting on this tragedy here even if I didn't personally know this man and know of his inner war I do think this is more positive in the long run. We are telling each other that this affects us and we want things to change.

I don't know what impact petitions have in reality but I know that boycotts usually don't work. Fellow actors in SK might be able to do something as well. Is it impossible for them to demand change.. I mean do they really risk their own careeers if they speak out? I seriously don't know how it works there so I am genuinely interested and wondering.
How come this human piece of scum gets a role in every high budget production when we dont want to see him? I feel forced to watch a True criminal (SA) in shows I would otherwise adore. Are we that different in terms of susceptibility? Cyberbullying is real, for some it grows into something unbearable in no time at all and in others it takes longer. People who suffer usually don't go around and advertise while it's going on. A smile is not an indicator of wellness. Social and mainstream media is responsible for a lot of these issues today regardless of their initial intent. Mainly bc of the instant gratification a lot of us get used to. In my opinion of course. I have not studied any of these topics so I am guessing that I am uneducated from your perspective. I was brought up with an international set of values and I just find this as something obvious from common sense.
Supernatural dramas can be wonderful, inspiring and obviously entertaining as long as the characters are relatable. Bong Soon was relatable imo. But this family (especially mom and grandma) are just all over the place and the bling is hurting the story so far. I don't take any drama at face value. Supernatural, historical or whatever. It's fiction even when it's based on things that have happened. A supernatural drama can go too far just as a everyday drama can be too plain. There has to be a balance in every genre to get a higher general approval. Sometimes with a touch of something different but not always. Everyone is entitled to like and dislike whatever they want. I dont love this drama (yet?) but I have nothing against the actual ppl in it.
