The sixth episode simply solidified the greatness of this story once and for all.
I feel like people are so used to the plasticity of romance clichés that they fail to appreciate the complexity of multi-layered characters where everything is implied in the subtext. It’s hard to be funny and ironic when the weight of such heavy words and actions is also part of the package.
I see people here in the comments saying, 'I can’t accept the actions of character X or Y,' while we are slowly witnessing the reasons why they behave that way. It’s a masterpiece.
I’m so happy that Koreans still have the courage to tell such visceral stories today, in an age where so many are deluded by images of people who don’t even exist. Here, even when taken to the absurd (like the sentiment watches), it feels like I’m invading these characters' privacy by following their lives. That’s how real it all feels.
No one is happy all the time; no one is sad all the time. We are human. Complex. Unpredictable.
besides some childish behaviors, I'm really loving everything about this drama. all the problems were solved in a mature/realistic way. so sad that is going to end next week 😭😭 eps 13 and 14 were so heartwarming...
Eps 9 and 10, for me, were a completely blast!! This is really good. I loved how they managed everything like real adults, this is really rare in kdramas.
Can't wait for the next episodes... sad there was no preview.
Can't believe in what they did in this episode. Really? Was enjoying the drama so much beside the criminal plot... but I was hoping for a better development of all.
Really liked the first two episodes! I have never watched a historical drama till the end (the ones I tried I ended droppin in the middle), so I hope they keep this enjoyable so I can finish one this time.
I can't understand how can someone watch this and not give it a 10. Episodes 8, 15 and 20 were a complete masterpiece for me. I'm really happy for watching this drama. It felt like a long hug when I needed.
In the end, all I wanted to say was 'thank you'. And of course, hug my mom. <3
MASTERPIECE! Absolute K-Drama! My new favorite.
ESSA É MULHER!!! TEM QUE RESPEITAR!!!!
