I don't like korean horrors too, like you said those are thrillers.
As for me, i believe that House is the greatest, have you seen it? (Very old and weird movie), there is also one missing call as for japanese movies.
I love Saw with all its sequels too (even though it can be considered as a thriller not an horror)
