From my point of view/what I understood, the FL in the novel spent more than half of it being in love with someone else and not the ML. And he suffered a lot because of it. He also made a lot of sacrifices for her. She is presented as some spoiled and narcissistic princess. That's why I think they are criticising the novel. But it's just my oppinion, if I am wrong, do tell me 🙈 I just started to read the novel.
