Cho Yeong (not to be confused with Cho Yeon) is Naksu's real name. Naksu is her assassin/stage name.
Cho Yeong = Naksu.

Also regarding Bu Yeon she not only wants her body back, she also wants her powers back.
We still don't know why she trapped Naksu's soul in first place if she doesn't like sharing. We speculate she might have needed someone's energy to get her powers back even from the beginning of the series. But this is only speculation. It wasn't explained in the drama. Right now it's confirmed she is feeding off of Naksu's energy and when her powers will be fully back she will kick Naksu's soul.

Not sure if BuYeon is hybernating or observing in silence. But the character has acted as Naksu's conscious so far.
I hope we get answers before the drama ends.

Whatever happens to him, I hope he pays for what he's done.

1. Jung Somin played Mu-Deok who's real identity is Jin BuYeon. Bu Yeon is supposed to be a powerful priestess, daughter of Jin Ho Kyung and older sister of Jin Cho Yeon (the arrow eyeliner ladies). In Mu-Deok's/BuYeon's body two souls reside, that of Naksu and of BuYeon. When Naksu performed the Alchemy of Souls, it failed, and in reality Mu-Deok/BuYeon trapped her soul in her body (not yet explained why she trapped Naksu, other than the bit that she is currently feeding on Naksu's energy to regain her powers).
So the blind girl who saved Uk is the soul of Mu-Deok/Bu-Yeon.
2. Season2 BuYeon is the same Mu-Deok/BuYeon, but with the face of Naksu. Master Lee at the request of BuYeon's mother saved BuYeon after she petrified in season1 and used Naksu's energy to heal her body. Since Naksu's energy unpetrified her and healed the body it took the resemblance of Naksu. There are still 2 souls in that body, both Naksu and BuYeon are there.
Naksu's original body was burnt in season1.

Yeah, it ended on that note. So we didn't even get to see the "accepting no power life" anyway. It's bad

I agree in almost everything, but the comparison between who has suffered more than the other. We don't need to compare. While he was stabbed, she's done the stabbing. Both are excruciatingly painful. Unfortunatelly we got only 10 eps and the writers focused on smth else instead of giving us both fully developed characters.

I completely agree. While watching part1, this was one of my drives to watch the series, to finally see her back as her true self, a badass mage. Then it ended, we got zombie bell 2 sec MD and I realized that the point for her char development was to give up her powers and get some humanity back. Pfff pffff
Now I don't have this kind of expectation, but still think it's a miss.

I don't care about them marrying or not, I just want them to survive and be together as their true selves.

We might never find out, just be left with our theories, think whatever you want kind of type :))))

Excelent drama. Cried all the time, but utterly enjoyed it. The actors, writers, directors and staff have done amazing job. Will definitely re-watch this.

I also think BuYeon is on a mission to save Daeho. Not just her fate, but she also knows it.
