Actually, the overall story is not too bad. When you finished it, you got the satisfying feeling because it finally over- and a good note, over with a good conclusion. But yes, it is soo draggy, I think they can cut some scenes or simplify some events because they always takes a weird turn whenever one problem about to settled. It can get A LOT better if they just cut to the chase.

Their third brother is so hypocrite. Like how can you force the Queen to death, when the Queen literally offered him the position of the emperor despite the King's will. And then, have the heart to say 'he is pressed by his brothers and ministers' to take the King's position. And, and, even want Chengxu to "help" him in the government matters when he killed his brother's mother?
This is so messed up. I'm just on ep5, no one should be crazy enough to watch 56 eps of this. omg

I think I got what you mean. The chemistry shown by FL seems lacking. Well I also think the same. ML did a great job at minor expressions but FL seems off somewhere. Their chemistry is enough for friendship relationship but in terms of lovers,. it's not that convincing

in a glance, we can know that this is a budget production. It's a not bad story, I can basically endure every shortcomings- it's not so serious overall. But just what's with the outfit of Bei Tang Mo Ran's right hand (don't remember his name)? Can't the production gave him another layer of cloth? > < / I know some people might enjoy it, but that outfit with his hairstyle makes him look sissy. I cringed A LOT!

I find it hard not to say PCH is the BM, since when he torture the VIP, he looks so natural, not even batting an eyelid. Nobody in their right mind would adjusted that fast into the torturing others. Well, I don't know if they doesn't show the scene where PCH gets guilty on doing that, but you know. It's just so terrifying that he actually looks satisfied

The story is like the ordinary couple story. But then, more ordinary it is, more comforting the story is.

I guessing it's either because you've seen better dramas with better cgi and cinematography for so long,.. or, we've growned up. It's imply because our feelings are a lot more natural than before.

It focus more on Yu er. And yu er's character is a flirtatious, not serious with romantic love kind of person. But Yu er's brother did have a romantic relationship tho so yeah, if you watch for romance, it is not interesting at all
