Rated this 7.5, but I usually tend to be quite generous with stars. I assume the high rating here is due to PondPhuwin-Perth-Chimon fans. My major problem with this series is Phuwin. His performance did not convince me. He was doing wonderfully being in love, though in the first episodes even that was dry. But, somehow, he was misplaced as a billionnaire's son. There was not a second I actually believed he came from such a household. His performance in that was more a billionnaire's son who was accidentally exchanged and brought up by the toilet cleaner. Sorry. At least, in the final episode he gave all to satisfy the BL fans who want to see the kiss.
The low performance of Phuwin was not all due to his acting. He can act. He won't win an Oscar, yes, but at least he knows how to act in front of a cam. The story itself contributed a lot to this uncreative plot-setting. For instance, Thai is a status society. No way that a billionnaire's son is bullied openly in that way. Won't say, it does not happen, but not openly. It will be subtle. They portrayed him and his family as super-important. In Thailand, Nueng could literally have gone to school, killed his classmates and teachers, then return home and telling his mum: Please, call the Police President and the Minister of Justice for tea this afternoon. We have something to discuss, and prepare a bit of "coffee money". Nothing can harm people with money. That is even in the US the case, though not that profound. That made Nueng a doubtful character, while Palm was portrayed quite "realistic" if I can use this word here. Probably because the writers know and can imagine how a fisherman's world is like, but not how a billionnaire's is...
I think 7.5 is quite okay, a good good, so to say. Northing overwhelming, but also nothing too harsh. Not sure if I will rewatch it. There were no real valueable moments in this series. I rather wait for a Youtube cut of Perth/Chimon moments here...
I still have goosebumps after watching this. To be honest, it might not be that bad, we just do not understand Thai humor. A lot of Thai comedies I've watched were totally absurd. Same here in Vietnam. I cannot get into that.
I, sometime, wonder if it's not fan sub that they add... But some fan sub are better than theirs lol
The Thai title means something like Chains of the earth/ Earth chains (toranee can also be the name of the Earth Goddess). Not sure, where the heart comes from here...
Man, Boom is handsome. I don’t think I’ve seen him in anything before. What the hell is it with the black…
Boom played in La Cuisine, if you happend to have seen that? He was the one friend opposing Lukchup getting close to Ram. I actually liked him there, too, but he never really got more screen time and his character wasn't worked out.
Jim and Gaipa aren't blood related at all. I think their families are friends and so Gaipa is close to him. Li…
Ah, okay. Because I was a bit confused about ep 6...but I thought, well, every second BL has brothers falling in love (and some of them are blood related), so I thought, okaaaayyy.. I think I misunderstood, because in ep 1 Jim was talking about his family and it switched suddenly to Gaipa and his mom. I actually thought, she is his sister.
Tough call. If they had met in college, they had been "dating" for 14-15 years when Beam died at the age of 34.…
What about her daughter? The girl looked like 5-6? Beam died 2018, now it was December 2022. If I assume the girl to be 3-4 (taken also that it is 9 months to give birth), she must have immediately married after Beam's death...I think that was a hint that she also had an affair. Or maybe I overinterprete here.
Toru is emotional as a dead frog. Okay, I saw him smiling sometimes. And I know, this is a Japanese series, but still... I've seen people reading the ingredients list of a product with more emotions in their face. And there are two guys fighting over him...
But honestly, why are characters always depicted as "shy" when they have been together for "a few years" (as the description says). That sounds not very plausible. I mean, if I am with a bf for "a few years" I won't drop from the chair to see him naked or trying to give me a kiss on my cheek...My goodness!
I stopped watching after 2-3 minutes of episode 3. Is it getting a bit better? I mean: Matteo is threatening Shokun, blackmailing him into BDSM stuff. I don't give a shit about their age, but this is too much. I know this is fiction, but unfortunately a lot of people don't. I cannot even understand all those people commenting that this is cute. I hope they also give some reasons why I should accept such bs? Someone on YT commented that this is a toxic relationship. Well... I will wait here and look what commentators write. But my life is to valuable to waste it on such shit.

Okay, after I watched "Season 1" and "Season 2" it looks like I watched a gigantic teaser??? Not sure what that was, but were the same actors and story... Still, this is labeled as non-airing here on MDL...
The main leads are cute and good chemistry. The story is not overwhelming though. Again the typical topics like fighting over girls, misunderstandings and non-communication... All things I have watched now dozens of times already and spoiled the fun for me a bit. It is watchable though and I recommend it.
