Honestly youre right. I think a-han is a great character its just a few things he has done which i disagree but other than that i think he is so pure and truly deserve his happiness. Poor A-Han and Birdy

As much as i love this movie, i cant deny the fact that the shower scene is problematic. I know they were trying to supress their emotions and theres a deeper meaning behind it. But birdy clearly told a han to stop and even pushing him but a han kept on touching "it". Birdy didnt give any consent and it is considered as r*pe and sexual assault. Not to mention the part where birdy was sleeping and a han tried to kiss him while birdy is unconsious. I know birdy was only pretending to sleep but what if he wasnt? If no one stopped a han he is probably going to continue that predetory behaviour. People are putting a blind eye to this just because they are pretty boys secretly in love with each other right? This is just my opinion

Im sorry you had to take your meds but this movie made me feel empty and heartbroken asf too. But maybe to calm you down a lil bit actually the uncut scenes were already released in Taiwan so they might add some happy memories together and idk when its gonna release internationally. But after knowing the directors explanation it made me like this movie more. Kinda dissapointed at first but watching it 2x i loove it

The internalised homophobia in that era is strong and you could lose your job, family etc. People have different views but for me i understand why birdy left jia han. Birdy dont want to be a dissapoinment to his dad so he want to live up to his expetations... i guess? By being "straight". Birdy didnt stay in contact with Jia Han bcs he cant control his feelings and might go back to him. But i wish Birdy would just be honest with himself tho
