If I was to describe this drama in one word - Heartbreaking. This was a real emotional roller coaster. This drama was truly amazing but I do not think that I will be able to rewatch this without breaking down at every happy/funny/sad/romantic moment while knowing what will happen to each character in the future. This is probably the most I have ever cried in a drama. I marathoned through it in a day and a half so you can imagine my despair when I finished the final episode. A bittersweet ending would have been better than the one that we were provided, however, I do understand their reasoning for such an ending, throughout the drama they have showed us that betrayal, pain and death surround the throne. It was understandable that people would die and no one would live a content life. It shows us how conniving the human mind can be and what a person is willing to do and give up just to gain power.
And the OST, my God the OST was amazing. I can't stop playing them on youtube and crying over the words and the scenes. I truly do not believe that I would ever rewatch this again unless in snipets on youtube or in the case that they make a second season that ends on a happy note. My heart just can't handle it. It was such a tough journey and all I did was watch, so I am honestly amazed by the superb work done by the actors/director/and the whole team. Kamsamida for the great job you've all done <3

I agree, but that's mainly because they've never interacted with each other before. K2 started liking her already but it's obvious that he still haven't fallen in love with her. On the other hand, Anna doesn't even know who he is yet. I guess we'll have to see how things go when they start having real interactions.

Realistically speaking, Anna's mother had a relationship with a married man and had a daughter with him. It wasn't a one time kind of thing where she didn't know that he was married. She might have been a total bitch to Yoo Jin, we still don't know Yoo Jin's side of the story regarding her husband's mistress. And it was obvious since the start that the father didn't really care that much about his mistress and daughter. If he did then he would have gotten a divorce instead of being married to one woman and using her resources whole shamelessly having a family on the side. Plus, when he found out about Anna's mom's death -assuming Yoo Jin did infact kill her- he didn't even shout or go crazy about it. Just accepted it for what it was. That might have been the start for Yoo Jin; her realising that her husband was a cheat when she gave up everything for him, and this was the turning point of their marriage I guess. Im not saying she's a good person, since she obviously has no problem with killing innocent people for her own gain but I can understand that things changed her. Also, its obvious that she still loves her husband. They showed us a scene in which he was surrounded by women and flirting with them while his wife was standing watching over him and when they left the event and he pompously agreed to taking another car to go to a woman's place, Yoo Jin cried over it in her own car. I don't think that she's falling in love with k2, its just that she's finding companionship with someone for the first time. She doesn't have friends and everyone around her are helping her because they're getting payed for it, not because they want to, so she's finally finding someone she has a possibility of relying on. It's also obvious that K2 is falling in love with Anna and not Yoo Jin, around Anna he's more carefree and child like, just like he was with his previous girl -just like he was before his trauma-, while around Yoo Jin he has his guard up, he doesn't trust her and he knows that she could harm him anytime but he's willing to form some sort of relationship since they both need each other.

It wasn't meant as a romantic scene. In her point of view; her dad remembers all about that day so its safe to assume that he remembers about his child's severe strawberry allergy as well. He sent a guy to give her strawberry icecream. He never visits her or does anything for her, and as a child she also couldn't really enjoy the privileges of having a father. So eating the icecream was her way of doing something for her father. The whole interaction between k2 and anna was her telling him her last words. It's not supposed to be romantic.

Soo Ha left her and went missing for a year, so she's afraid that something may happen that will cause them to seperate. We've seen how she stopped caring about her life when be went missing. She stopped interacting with her coworkers, she stopped believing in the law and didn't care about her job, Soo Ha got her into tidying up her place and being organised but the place became messy again, however when Soo Ha showed up again, she tidied up and that shows us that the reason the place was a mess wasn't because she just is messy like before, but because she didn't care about anything anymore. Also, I think him being younger is also another factor that she's worried about, that he might stop loving her one day or find someone his age. We see that from her action towards Soo Ha when he asked her to wait for him while he serves his sentence for attempted murder. She felt that he was leaving her once again but then when she read his journal, she realised that he haven't stopped loving her for 11 years and that's why when he got back she told him that she loved him and that she's willing to wait for him.

I need to find something to watch until episode 5 is released! This is torture!!
