I'm devastated for Jiang Na for suffering such a cruel death at the hands of someone she trusted and love. She was definitely too naive for her own good, but Ji Ming was really evil. He didn't have the right to cry after killing her - he acted like he was forced to do so. And he killed his unborn child. Prior to this revelation, I actually thought that he was a complex character and could empathise with him hiding his true self in order to succeed - this was in the context of him trying to fit in. But him murdering someone is inexcusable.
If only Jiang Na had met He Peng first and fallen for him. Her ending would have been drastically different.
Why the score is only 8.1? I binged from Eps1-9 over this weekend and paused watching Lost You Forever2 & Princess…
I agree with you! This show is soooooo compelling. I also paused The Princess Royal 𤣠(especially because some people in the comments were complaining about the princess going back a few steps in their relationship).
Really enjoying this at the moment! Have finished ep 9 - so while it's clear that Ji Ming wasn't the perpetrator of the rape-murder, he may have been the perpetrator of Jiang Na's disappearance. He probably plagiarised Tang Xun via Jiang Na, and that's how the crime scene got written into his novel.
I have major problem, a huge plot hole that nobody addressed. In the first episodes (maybe 4th) they show how…
Did the modern-day grandpa explain why he kept Yeon Woo alive because of the painting? I seriously don't get it, beyond the fact that in the story, she resembles the painting, which she should, since it is of her.

Did the modern-day grandpa really kill the reincarnation of the FL at 20 years old? I don't remember that at all (perhaps I missed it)! And you also mentioned that the show did not provide a reason for that. Goodness, I need to go back and watch it again. This is all so confusing.
Everything you said is completely what I thought too 𤣠especially Hyeseon, Gwanhee, Habin and Hajeong's part.…
I agree with you both!
I actually like Hye Seon for being bubbly without being naive. She does have that spunk for life (I mean, she's only 25 in international age), but she is also matured and wise enough to not take Gwanhee's promise in paradise as a thing. Honestly, him telling her that he felt like he would be super attached to her and making that promise that his feelings will not change at all, was making me feel a little ick on her behalf, because it was too much too soon. Good thing this girl is discerning and knows that everyone comes on the show to get to know people, and she very nicely puts him in his place by reminding him of that.
I initially liked Gwanhee because he seemed like the honest and sweet type, which he also showed during his time in paradise, when he took food for Hye Seon and got her supplements, but he clearly did a 180 in episode 2 and plays mind games like he is so experienced and that's a no for me :/
I like the changes they made here especially because āhell/infernoā finally looks more like hell š I thought…
Yea, it is also my opinion that Habin is the most good-looking guy on the show! But perhaps he didn't appear super confident or didn't give off the right vibes.
I saw this comment on Gwanhee's IG saying that he looked like Bongseok from Moving, and I completely agree. That was kind of what drawn me to him, because he appeared sweet and honest. It's just too bad that he seems to be the kind to play mind games and comes across as emotionally unsafe, which I don't like.
His tendency to banter does create a kind of tension, which can increase his attractiveness, but I feel that he could possibly hide behind jokes due to the inability to communicate transparently - we shall see.
Anyway, I'm now mostly glad that Hye Seon has a good head on her shoulders and decided to take his words with a grain (or maybe a sack) of salt. I would hate to see her lose her spark because of a player.
My lord please am i the only one who doesn't like Hajeong she's giving me sus vibes like she came on the show…
Yea, I like Hye Seon too as she seems like a reasonable and level-headed person. I'm glad she has a good head on her shoulders and didn't take Gwan Hee's words for real entirely. That's a smart girl!
nvm its 20 episodes. probably gonna postpone until its done
HAHA good call. I thought it would be fine to start watching this afternoon, and before I know it, 9 episodes have flown by. The story is really compelling (or has been so far). May be better to just wait a little longer till it is on its last few episodes!
