I've read a few chapters of the novel (that's all that's translated so far) but lowkey think this story is better fitted for reading in some aspects. I quite liked the fight technique and world building explanations. obviously the drama skips it cause that'd be boring and long but still unfortunate

In my opinion it did feel like a bromance I don't have a problem with a lack of skin ship or anything (untamed anyone?) but even just they way they communicate can feel really off quite often. But the comedy and music is 100% worth it

Honestly same. They had occasional sweet moments but most of it felt weird. They're both good actors but it falls flat pretty often

Unpopular opinion: just cause you have a moment in front of an audience doesn't make it extra special

Ngl this hits well as a comedy (which I'm happy about) but falls flat as a romance. Some scenes were cute and wholesome yes especially the last episode I was just cringing at their attempt at sweet scene.

Am I the only one who wasn't a fan of episode 9? It felt really forced. Ngl like all the cute moments were ADORABLE and I loved it especially our baby Phukong coming to his senses and beating up Mil.
But idk it just felt it a bit all over the place is that cause of covid? but I thought they finished filming before??

Anyway, the end with Tine singing and how Man and Boss cut him of had me so mad, BOI PRACTICED SO HARD LET HIM SING BICH *literally crying aaaaaahhh*
