Just finished it! I liked it, but kind of hated the last two episodes. She just abandoned him for two years without telling him. And then she returns and it looks like she’s abandoned her roommate who she was good friends with too. And then during their wedding, he stops to solve a bug? I was so disappointed in that.

I’m wonder why we can’t see the second leads kiss? I’m on episode 27. Hmmm

Honestly he’s unrecognizable. I was on episode 6 before I realized the male lead was Fu Pei. ?

Oh yeah! Good point about her! I think they were both pretty underdeveloped characters, but maybe it would be interesting to see them in a sequel.

I really appreciated the second lead. He genuinely liked her because of her talent and work ethic and he was upset she didn’t like him, but he never treated her badly for it. He accepted it and moved on. It’s so rare in C dramas to find that type of nontoxic attitude.

I’m really disappointed in this story. I guess I had high hopes based on the reviews. I just finished episode 15 and it just never was that great to me. But I wouldn’t exactly call it boring either, just not as good as I expected.

I’m on episode 16 and it’s been so hard to finish. It just got so heavy and sad. This wasn’t what I expected from the Netflix preview I saw.

I’m on the last episode and the hotel scene was super uncomfortable. And I feel like there wasn’t enough back story on the Ling Wei story. Otherwise super cute. But also like super controlling and a bit predatory ML? Like he schemed to get one room. She made a pillow fort. That just creeped me out.

Why does Dramalist say there’s 25 episodes? I only see 24 on Viki.

She’s a terrible friend but like, we also almost never see the two of them together during the series so they don’t even seem like they’re friends.

Yes that ending was so bizarre! Out of nowhere. Didn’t make any sense at all.

I really, really enjoyed this drama. But she seemed to forget about her daughter. And I felt like we never really got to see them as a couple in the workplace. I wanted to know what would happen when everyone found out they had known each other for 20 years and that was basically swept over. It was super sweet though. Nice and fluffy. Just what I wanted.
