the grandma is usually always evil
The grandma Dowager Empress was nice in LYF, but she didn't last more than an episode.

I started with LYF & LOA before then got bored and came to MLC. Now I'm addicted to MLC and already re-watched…
After watching LYF, I had to up my rating on LOA, from 6.5 to 7. LOA with its plotholes, was better than LFY, in my honest opinion. I also liked Cang Xuan in the last two episodes.

1. Ofc it is the same singer ;-) Liu Yuning2. Not all actors can ride :-)3. This is normal for such kind of dramas.…
I didn't even think of Liu Yu Ning. I could recognize his singing voice after Long Ballad.

I'm not much into shipping non-romantic pairs but if I have to pick a couple here, it would be LLH/DFS. Not only…
The dialog about DFS not into women, made me laugh out loud, every time. It was mentioned at least two times, to Jiao.

I watched LYF after MLC ended, and I was bored with the characters and the plot. Xiang Liu was the only interesting performance.

My video review of Mysterious Lotus Casebook. Do have a look and let me know what you think :)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEKT3BTD5qU
Your set design is perfect. It should be in a drama. The action scenes looked movie quality. You said it was a Hong Kong team, which explains it. I gave it 9.5, too, which is rare for me.

Juli and Zhimo are the cutest couple in the making... cuter than the FL and ML or Princess and Scholar.

Review Mysterious Lotus Casebook
Very good review! I have watched nineteen 2023 dramas this year, and MLC is the best drama that I have watched this year. The three ML actors were perfectly cast.

Review Lost You Forever
I am watching the drama with skepticism. None of the four leads is appealing. Visually, Xiang Liu stands out. He is prettier than Xiaoyao. 🤣 I have no idea what Cang Xuan is plotting.
