LOL Another stupid, dubious ending!

A lot of curved balls...is that why they call it? I didn't pay heed to the ramblings of mad men...Emperor, YL, Eunuch, QM...even QX. I only heeded LY and QY, and Old Madam Liang.

I don't understand how she knew about the crates. When and why was she there? Was that when she was the imposter Fairy? Perhaps she moved the crates herself. 🤣🤣🤣 That was a stretch. The writer decided to make her useful.

The opera vocals are such a nice change to the BGM on C-dramas.

That will be a nice thing to look forward to. Is it the sequel to the drama?

They deserved better, as good guys. So many casualties in the drama! Only YL, QY, QX, QM and the Qiu and Quan family survive... and Commander of the Palace.

He turns back into his vile self in episode 34, but gets a big promotion. Just like real life!

I forgot about Twisted Fate of Love. I can't even recall the ending, except that it was not happy.

YL was a backstabber to the end, climbing the ladder of success. I hope he falls the same way he sabotaged Liang Yi. Emperor was a big joke. He might meet Emperean Fairy on the other side, and ask what happened.

Thanks for the clarification. You should have been the writer, to create these flashbacks. Funny, that in the end, the half Dashuo-Northern Liang CP becomes Emperor, after all the clandestine behind the scenes conspiracies.

She's a wallflower...window dressing. I am surprised that Qin Xuan was not attracted to her in the beginning. Toward the end, she perked up, and decided to use her brains, to help her man. She was another annoying character, like Yuan Lang. They would have made a good couple.

I would love to see Jeremy Tsiu and Vengo Gao play twins or brothers in a drama. There was a third actor, but I have forgotten his face and his name.

Ok...I will have change my rating from 7.5 to 8. My earlier rating was 8.5 for Jeremy. I have to deduct points for Qiu Min, Yuan Lang, Eunuch Liu's confession story, the gullible Emperor, the Emperean Virgin Fairy, the dubious overlapping conspiracy theories, Old Madam Liang's death, QY's stupid confession that she killed Old Madam, 2nd Madam's death, and the social distancing ending.

I applauded when Emperor spit out the Anling poison pill, and when he grabbed the teacup with the poison, and drank it.
