This is a whole different pace to Jun Jiu Ling and Lovers of the Red Sky which I am watching concurrently.

Hello! I am Western Chinese, and not Asian continental Chinese, but I remember daydreaming when I was twelve years' old, to counterbalance the boring secondary school and the bullying. I didn't write anything down, as it would be incriminating evidence. ROFL Watching the young Chen Mei Ru is deja vu.

LOL When you think about it, the plot is embellishing a twelve years' old girl's day dream fantasy about her Babylonian Prince Charming. The disclaimer at the beginning of every episode, "This story is purely fictitious", is hilarious. I guess that they are telling the viewers that there was no Iraqi/Chinese ancient alliance.

It seems to have a Hollywood or British production feel. It is not choppy like the C-dramas that are loaded with filler, filler flashbacks, choppy editing and loud music. I don't mind the flashbacking to twelve years prior. The scenes expand on the story, without disrupting the concentration.

She was domineering toward Murong in many scenes, but when she recapped her misery to Murong, I started to see myself.

The quality of the directing is amazing. I have not seen it in C-dramas. The Director knows how to direct a drama, his staff and cast. it also appears that he is controlling the editing process, which is usually the downfall of the C-dramas. And there is no obtrusive singing in the episodes, overlaying dialog.

I am old enough to be the primary cast's grandmother, but I like this show. I binged four episodes in the last three hours. The production values are high. This looks like a multinational production. The credits has Chinese, French, Korean and Iraqi production crews. The directing, editing, acting are very good. The flashbacking sequences are positioned within the episodes without being obtrusive and disruptive. I am enjoying this show. The production values are superior to other C-dramas that I have seen.

Same! The only reason I started watching the show today was because I recognized Richards Wang in the thumbnail on an episode.

I am hooked on it. I watched twenty-four episodes in two or three weeks. Jin Han cries too much in the drama...very annoying. Then he clowns around. I like him, otherwise.

I thought that the editing skills in C-dramas are bad, but this K-drama has some very bad editing. The momentary flashbacks and flashbacking are bordering on jigsaw puzzle pieces. I don't understand why the Asian production teams cannot present a coherent flow in their dramas. Viewers have a short attention span. Keep them focused on the plot.

She became a weepy character too. Weepiness is tiring in K-dramas.

Brilliant character assessment of Hao Du. I was also intrigued with the character, and his journey.

I was thinking the same thing.

Vincenzo can be described as a light/dark comedy.

The chemistry was 10 out of 10.

I watched this show a few years ago. I loved the leads, Ji Hyun Woo and Yoo In-Na in the drama.
