His (... Emperor Wen Jing-Zhong Mo) job description has expanded over the twenty-one episodes. He should get a pay raise.

While I was watching episode 20, I decided to stop second guessing the plot, and to just wait for the episodes roll out. The casualty count has been increasing with every episode.

It looks like Xie Huai An is left with Xiao Wei Jing and the female. Who is protecting Xiao Wu Yang? Is Ye Zheng dead or alive? Head Eunuch might be killed next.

They keep dropping like flies. Is Ye Zheng dead? Ironic that the writer brought back a fake Wang Pu to kill Pan Feng Shan. It would have been more realistic if the real Wang Pu had survived the poison, to kill PFS later. I suspected Su was more than Mr Sunshine Smile. He killed his boss Yang and the cart driver in cold blood. King Tiemo killed General Yu. How did General Yu end up at that location? Is Wujin allying with King Tiemo or Chang'An dynasty? There are three living emperors in the drama. LOL. You can't even guess where this story is headed over the final eight episodes . We will find out over the next four days.

It's a very good actor stock photo. I could see Zhang Sheng playing a military or police official, or someone in authority.

I think Zhang Sheng might have known that Mo was the Emperor. He was stunned when Xiao Wen Jing-Mo knelt down in front of him.

I hope he changes his face before that, and makes arrangements for Zhong Mo's family. I think Xie Huai An's plan was flawed. Two people with the same face could not live, even if they were some distance apart. The Huben Army and Pan Feng Shan seem to have a wide outreach. By sheer coincidence, Wen Jing encountered Zhong Mo's biological father.

I know he was trying to protect her, but he should have told her that they were long lost siblings, and to warn her of the dangers to come. He should have surmised that Yan Feng Shan would be after her. There was no guarantee that they would meet again. Unfortunately, her foster sister would sabotage her.
