I was expecting Grandma to mention to Shen about the father's illness, but it is too early in the plot. As usual, there is an obsessive possessive ex-girlfriend in the plot. She might be delulu, if they were never lovers.

I didn't like Xu Yan in the beginning, but now that I see her birth parents, I can understand why she is two-faced. She is not the type of female friend you would want to hang out with, but I feel sorry for her circumstances in life.
