Correct , but there were feelings involved . He didn’t have any . And also she didn’t need to go undercover it clouded his judgment and knowing she had feelings for another man . I think that when you go undercover and your life is always on the online it changes you . He was in a very difficult situation . But I think he did the best under all these circumstance

Going undercover especially in such a violent gang it changes you and that is what happened . He had to do the unspeakable in order to achieve the mission . One of the reasons he became this way was to protect his wife , who should have known better than to go undercover with her husband , he makes him vulenerable and not only that she was having an affair and in love . His actions for killing him were justified . Him leaving his wife is completely understandable and moving to Hong Kong is the best . I think it’s a realistic ending . Everyone got what they deserved .
