yeah, love that she isn't afraid to stand up for people, no matter if it's her loved ones or people that she barely knows! but still, she remained rather respectful and tried to appeal to the "humane" side of the Void tyrant. she's truly badass.

I don't think the majority of the comments favouring QK/CF meant to come across as bashing/belittling the other main couple. Sometimes, written contents can be interpreted in too many ways, which easily causes misunderstandings. Idk, I think everyone is entitled to favouring whatever couple they want to, as at the end of the day, we're all watching the show for entertainment and to escape the real world for a few minutes a day ☺️

btw I may have misunderstood but judging by the way the 2CP is presented in this show, the shows' promotional stuff etc., it seems to me that the 2CP was meant to be a "second main couple" rather than just a supporting second couple that adds to the main couple. I guess, that's why the 2CP in this show gets a better, more refined storyline of their own (and a bit more screen time compared to other second couples in other shows), but still doesn't take away from the other main couple's story.

All in all, one thing we can all agree on I think is that this drama has given us lots of swoon-worthy moments and laughing fits to brighten our days, and sometimes, that's all you need 🥰

I also love the subtle change in QKs personality, going from conforming to everything she's been taught and instructed to do, to finally giving her own feelings the importance they deserve, all while remaining strong-willed and kind. HXL did a good job portraying the character!

Agreed, really hope she'll get to show her talent in other good future projects.

yeah I realised that a few chapters in when a lot of the sentences started to become nonsensical and the characters' names were translated too literal.. made for a good laugh tho 🤣

You're right, I tend to forget about the strict censorship regulations.. I mean I am not complaining about all the wholesome scenes we're getting for the 2CP, on the contrary ^^

I planned on doing the same thing and either wait for a good translation or my Mandarin to get better overnight but the chemistry of the second couple was too powerful so that went out the window pretty fast..

okay so I am slightly confused but is it possible that they changed quite a few things about the 2CP as compared to the novel? it wouldn't be the first time shows did this, also I'm not sure if the novel that I read (or rather the google translate version of it) is the completed version of it but some things are different.. f.e. I don't remember reading about the marriage scene in prison...in general, the show seems to contain less of the"gruesome" scenes that appeared in the novel (f.e. I am curious to see if they'll include the part with the 2FL crawling on her knees as punishment but I doubt it).. or maybe I'm just wrong and missed/misunderstood these things in the novel 😅

I really hope so, I am way too invested in this drama to accept a bad ending.. also curious to see what differentiates the two endings.

Wait.. in a recent interview with Timmy, they asked if it's a HE and he said he can't say because, I quote "compared with the original novel, the ending of the TV series is different.".... the ending of the novel was perfect, why on earth would they change it.. I hope this won't become one of these dramas where they ruin a perfectly written drama in the last episode...

@shadowdreamer Me too! Actually, your past comments inspired me to freshen up on my Chinese and read the novel, and now I really really hope they'll keep following the novel as close as possible.. I agree, this is the best part right now!
