The movie was great but I don't understand the sad ending. Didn't You Yu confess that he gave the drugs to his grandma? Then Lin at the most obtained it illegally. So why do they need to separate? Even if he was sent to jail, wouldn't he meet You Yu again who is his adopted son? How does placing You Yu in his uncle's care help when he only wants to sell the house? I really feel that the ending was made sad for the sake of it. It didn't fit in at all with the story!
The only thing i need to say is that i honestly didnt want to see a happy ending after 2/3 of the movie has passed.…
Yes exactly. I don't get how Birdy protected him by cutting off all contact. At least they could have stayed in touch, if becoming a couple was difficult.

Yes that seemed odd to me as well. Birdy was a rebel to the core but still he ended up in the closet while messing up Jia Han. I get it that he did this to protect Jia Han but it still seems out of character for Birdy. Similarly, Birdy again seems confused in the end when he has a chance to get back with Jia Han.
I was wondering the same thing. I’m confused... like, they showed him in the rear view for a reason I’m guessing?
Yes that is tragic and evil. Another possibility is that the second lead was fed up with the work and left the club. Since he cannot or does not want to go home, he was looking for a place when he meets the first lead. So they meeting was just fate. But the second lead later realized for whatever reason that this is not going to work and decides to go back to work. Anyway in this case also its tragic because they end up in the host club or as prostitute and so there's very less chance of them getting together again. Why did they not give a positive ending like "No Regret"?
I rewatched this again. It's done so well. Every slight smile, gesture, glance conveys the emotions and the story perfectly. The student's confidence is especially charming. And this all makes it believable.
Saw all available episodes in 2 days and now I regret it! XD Waiting is going to kill me but at least... weekend…
That exactly happened with me. I saw the trailer few days back and binge watched all the episodes. Now waiting 1 week seems endless. A rare BL where I felt this way!
Another great positive movie from Strongberry. The character development in such a short time is remarkable. Also the acting is great considering they are new actors. Everything felt so natural. Keep on making such great LGBT movies, preferably longer ones!
This was a great movie but requires patience to appreciate the raw emotions of not only the main leads but the supporting cast as well, especially the ending. I liked the realistic portrayal of how Su Min resisted Jae Min multiple times, even ruthlessly and then later fell for him really badly, leading to the dramatic ending. Certainly worth a rewatch to appreciate the finer points of the movie.
This is another gem from Strongberry. I just hope this was much much longer! The acting and direction is great. You can really feel the emotions the professor is going through. Not even one scene is unnecessary or out of place, but adds to the story. The cinematography and locations are beautiful. This is an awkward subject to handle but is portrayed well, especially the student's confidence in them, despite their age gap, student-teacher relationship and different personalities. We really need more such positive and confident LGBT love stories to be told!
I liked the trailer so much that I subscribed to Gagaoolala to watch it officially and it exceeded my expectations.…
Great points I liked in the movie: 1. The contrast between Chisoo's family and Gitae's family teaches Chisoo what a family should be in the end. Chisoo's dad doesn't really love him but guilts him into working for him. Gitae's sister on the other hand is so supportive. 2. Gitae's sister's character is written and acted beautifully. Her dialogue that "If I turn my back on him, then imagine how cold the world will be" really sums up the need for family acceptance. Later, she is the one who tells Gitae not to disappoint the one you love, which helps Gitae to make up his mind. 3. The difference in Chisoo and Gitae's personality and how they compliment each other is cute. 4. Besides great acting by everyone, the positive ending is full of hope!
