i dont think they look old for the role though (maybe because of the styling?). they're only 20. and yes i agree…
I’m just being realistic. Fourth doesn’t look awkward playing a high school student and I think the insistence that he looks too old is disingenuous. Like you just want to see him play a college student, it doesn’t have anything to do with his ability to play a character that is younger than him.
Earth has played characters both older and younger than himself. Fourth has done the same, and he is doing it well. I’m also skeptical of people who insist that teenagers look older than their age. It feels like justification for something.

He looks his age which is 19. But it’s totally normal to have young adults play high school students. Most high school characters in dramas are played by actors in their 20s for a variety of practical reasons. It’s very rare to have teen actors play teens. And Y’all are just going to have to get used Fourth playing a high school student because this won’t be the last time.
Not all Manga readers agree. Some of us are having fun with the series. I’m enjoying it greatly.
I’m enjoying it because I don’t expect them to be IdaAoki. IdaAoki are uniquely Japanese. They have to make changed in Thai adaptation to fit Thai sensibilities. This is it’s own story thing. I enjoy both the similarities to the original and the differences.

Put Fourth next to any of the actors in their 20s at GMM and he still looks very young. He can’t even grow real facial hair yet. Like he is definitely maturing but like most actors he can still convincingly play a character that is just a few years younger than him
The episode 5 confession scene was so cute. I’ve watched it several times, Gem and Fourth’s acting has improved so much. Atom went on a whole face journey before he was able to spit out the words and it was so fun to watch.

They were 19 playing 16/17 year olds. Atom and Kongthap are 11th graders. They look older than they did in MSP but they don’t look like adults yet. Save the college roles for the 21+ actors.
Each episode gets better. I absolutely loved the delulu besties Atom and Mudmee in this episode. Now that the crush mix-up is sorted out we are getting development in their friendship. Fourth’s take on Atom is different than Aoki in the book but I found it hilariously endearing. We got some backstory for Atom which was so heart breaking and also helps contextualize his insecurities and over the top reactions. I also love how Gemini is playing Kongthap. In this version he feels more autism coded than the manga which would explain why he is struggling so hard to understand how he affects Atom, but he cares so much and keeps trying to understand. He isn’t stoic and unemotional, he just shows emotion differently.
I saw some complaints about the MSP reference, but I thought it was cute. This director likes to reference his past work with the actors. He did the same thing in MSP when he referenced Bad Buddy because Mark was in BB and MSP.
They were 19 when they filmed this series which is actually a very appropriate age for playing high schoolers.…
I’m a HS teacher, they look younger than some of my students. If you stand them next to any of the older pairs at GMM they look like babies. They still have baby faces, they just look slightly older than when they were 17 in MLC. But they are still too young to play older roles. They will eventually but they need time to mature. For now GMM will give the adult roles to the older actors.
Ida and Aoki are fictional characters that always have a special place in my heart. I trust the on-screen chemistry…
So an interesting fact, the change to a cat wasn’t just done for adds because Nekko advertises dog food too. Fourth has a phobia of dogs, there is no way they could have filmed it with one. He used to be afraid of cats too but he’s gotten better and even adopted a cat which has helped him get over the fear.
I don’t think the crossdressing joke would go over well in the current political climate surrounding LGBT issues…
Aoki dressing as a female character is supposed to be humorous. And I don’t think the intention was to make fun of queer men who crossdress, however, LGBT issues are at the forefront of Thai politics right. These BL companies are under the scrutiny of Thai LGBT activists. Also GMM has a lot of queer staff on the production side. This is just me speculating of course, but I’m sure they considered very carefully how to adapt this series for Thai audiences.
Is it nice 🤔? I want to watch this so I wanted to know if anyone wants to tell
Depends on what kinds of series you like. This is a pretty light hearted high school series with miscommunication tropes. The four leads are cute. I’m enjoying it.
That had it's moments, but again, the music editor had the volume way too high. i'm not feeling the chemistry…
1. The musical has to be good and romantic to sell the idea that Atom saved the play and that he fell for Kongthap so quickly. And the dance scene needs to be a little awkward because the characters didn’t rehearse.
2. There are 35 chapters plus an epilogue in the manga and they have only covered up to chapter 5. I’m actually concerned they might rush some parts to fit the whole story in 12 episodes.
3. Is the chemistry is there. The feelings between their characters are just starting to develop, like they aren’t in love yet so there isn’t any yearning yet, but the tension is starting to build. It was the same in MSP.
I love Gemini and Fourth, so I’m very biased towards them. I think they are creating very cute and sweet versions of the lead characters. But can we talk about how perfect Pahn is a Mudmee? Like she is funny and sweet, I absolutely adore her and she needs to protected at all costs!

part 3/4 is normal for all GMM
Shows. Unless there is a sex scene then the views will go up.
