I think your whole expectations on show was totally misunderstood, Kanghan Sailom story doesn't only based on two people one rich bully and one poor scholarship student.
It based on people with different society and there interaction show how huge the differences is and when you look at the struggle you might not feel Kanghan struggle is important because you never gone through it but some for people it is the reason of life time anxiety and acknowledgement truma.
If you only expecting redemption arc from this show you are only seeing one expect of life and you won't move on from that part because for you the only important thing is that Kang apologize for bully but you are not interested to go on dept and wait to see what the story want to tell.
