To me, it was all about the patriarchic of the family(which I don't condone whatsoever), the grandfather. Lee Sung Min's performance was formidable. He has been my number-one actor since Mesang. After his passing, I felt a void in the drama. At the same time, Do jun was the real deal for me. Once they murdered him I felt another void, even though Hyun Woo came back to what I presume to be his original self. I still wanted the 17 years to at least be 18 instead. Alas, it did not take place. I enjoyed this drama. I learned business terms and manners that were not in my dictionary. The mentality of businessmen or women is something I don't grasp. But it seems to me the Jusan era is still going on in South Korea.
I disagree. The lead had plenty of scenes to see why they developed feelings for each other. It is deeper and…
I agree that both the king and the female lead suffer from life-threatening traumas. They understand each other at different levels. Even though the King is not aware yet of the female lead trauma. Poor souls.
I am still watching episode 20. I just wanted to vent in not wanting one of my favorite characters to turn dark. Please, please, please don't turn the crown prince into a co-conspirator.
I finished all 20 episodes. I am not yet ready to watch the 2nd season. I am still processing the 1st season's ending.
I was left feeling frustrated and fed up after finishing episodes 7 & 8. The female lead pleading with the male lead to do something that he is not comfortable with was disturbing to me. Friends don't treat friends this way. He had her back and showed up to support her. After this, she needs to stop having do kissing scenes and pretend love to a woman who is hopelessly in love with him. Something about this just rubs me the wrong way. Also, she is not that effective in setting boundaries with her boss woman.

All in all, what she is doing is just wrong.
