The actor is actually very tan in naturally by korean standards. Rastafarian is a religion that can be practiced by anyone so it is hardly a racial stereotype. They like to smoke weed, be passive politically, and tend to be au natural. It's kind of insulting that you would treat a religion like that as a hurtful stereotype. The dirty effect was probably too much, but dressing as Rasta is the equivalent to dressing up as a nun or a simple church goer with a cross and bible. The messiah in christianity was dirty and was surrounded by the homeless as were the founders of Rasta. You are very judgmental of a religion that frankly you know nothing about. I was implying that dreads where not appropriation since historically many cultures have used them. Sure the way the actor is portrayed is kind of insulting, but not in the way you are insinuating at all which is frankly disgusting

I hate to say this but Dreads are not just an African thing at all. Early Vikings, Celts, Germanic tribes and even Romans had Dreads and so did a lot of warriors so no it's not cultural appropriation at all.
I hope they make a third film. I would hope it would be either of the Yoshiwara arcs, but then again they might skip those and do the assassination arc.
Honestly, not digging the writing of this show. The action is great as is the camera work, but the writing is just not up to par for the hype of the show.
The movie was pretty bad to be honest. Bad acting, bad directing, and a bad script just bog the cgi down as well. Little fresh meat aka Luhan is just subpar at acting, but surprisingly his co-lead was worse even though she has so much experience. The script though is really what failed the movie by trying to juggle romance, sci-fi, and action and succeeding with none of them. This movie though is watchable if you turn your brain off while watching or if your a big fan of a cast member.
I remember watching this when it was airing, and it was so good especially the story when they were young. It still was good after the fact, but then they decided to get new show-runners while it was airing. Seriously, it's sad because I remember being able to tell when the new heads started dictating the show because the story stopped going in a certain direction and just started to seem lost. Afterwards everything just felt flat with the story completely changing direction for the worse and seemed so aimless.
I normally like antiheroes in dramas so this list helped. I have to see Cruel Romance now and stop putting off Ouroboros just because I read the manga.
I enjoyed gap dong, bridal mask, warrior baek dong soo, time between dog and wolf, the devil/maou, kurosagi, and cruel city which all feature a bad guy character you just can't dislike
I haven't started this drama yet, or KMHM, but I think that I'll start Hyde Jekyll and I because there is Hyun…
I think you should really watch KMHM because it is really entertaining and Ji-Sung acts out each of his personalities (including a teenage girl personality) really well. I like Hyun Bin too, but his drama made me bored almost right away.
Lol Shota never gets the girls in his dramas or films, and now this will worsen it by adding thirteen more women.
When I made this comment it said that there would be thirteen episodes with each one centering around at least one girl. In a lot of Shota's dramas and movies he does not really get the girl in the end.

He subbed like 1-7 about 5 years ago, but then disappeared. I remember liking the manga, but it was a shame that he never finished the drama subbing.
