Yes yes yes exactly. Thank you for putting it into words. The only explanation i see is they both were traumatized and that took a toll on their relationship. The wife had more reason to divorce Joonmo cuz she was unaware of this side of him before. Joonmo had no reason like what did she even do??? She told him many times to come back and prioritise their relationship but he was the one who put the mission above theur marriage. She was suffering so much that only proves that she is a good human being and this was not normal to her. Tricking someone who she knew when she was little and has seen struggling must have so difficult for her.

I don't understand how FL's interaction is pointless. She was the one who caused rift between Gicheul and his group members. She was the reason Gicheul sent Joonmo to pickup Bibi....she was the reason we got to see his softboy side...she was the reason he appeared human. She had a good role in my opinion.... maybe on the surface u r dismissing her bcuz she wasn't a badass cop who got her mission done no strings attached but yes she has influenced the story.

Yes i partially agree here cuz they he seemed to have it all together and always knew he was dealing with criminals but that only happened when he explained to his superiors to let him act according to his will. There were moments where he seemed too far gone. I think its the director's fault to not give us a clear picture but maybe that was the deal with this character. He didn't know himself that he was way too far gone.

Yes this was supposed to be the core of his character. That he has still got humanity left in him. He trusts people, wants to fall in love and is also pathetic 😂 bcuz he entered this business not bcuz he had turned into a monster but bcuz this is all he could do. He was smart though but the police's team work was really good. On top of that Gichul was alone....all these ppl who pretended to be his well wishers were secretly betraying so he was not able to anyone's advice in goodwill.

I don't think she had feelings though. She cared for him but She loved her husband only. Yes she was a lot emotional and scared than others but thats no reason to hate her. Unless you are a downright psychopath u can't just go and play with people's emotions even if that person is a criminal.

I think his character was written this way so the audience would become unable to pick sides. If they would have made him straight up evil it would have so easy to root for Junmo. Also, he was supposed to be in love so yes i think he was written just fine.

Min gu was my favourite character. So evil and unhinged. I haven't seen many characters like him.....he is very interesting. I loved his mannerisms and attraction to violence.
