This was a good quality drama, but not my cup of tea.
Although So Ji Sub along with the rest of the cast were marvellous and engaging, with the villains really villain-ing, the story fell flat for me. The plot twists notwithstanding, it all started to feel a bit repetitive after the 4th episode. It was like a catchy pop song, with the chorus repeating, on, and on, and on... Eventually, I got bored of the tune.
Still, a quality, stylish and well-acted show. Big props to So Ji Sub!

This show was not for me. The tragicomic road trip which the drama's loveable and very, very well-acted characters go on felt like an emotional dysregulation pity party. I was initially onboard because it felt raw, and human, and potentially healing. However, it fell flat for me after the first 3-4 episodes - perhaps, because whereas the emotion and action were very much present, I didn't detect any trace of intelligence nor maturity.
I can absolutely see the charm of the drama, but it tried a little too hard and screamed a bit too loudly to keep my attention.

Nice to look at but nothing to see.

This drama took me by surprise: the depth, the darkness, the intensity of it... The acting was absolutely brilliant - especially, set as it was against the backdrop of rich visuals with haunting music.
I've not been this impressed by a series in a long time. If I could give it 11/10, I would.
