I feel exactly the same way, novel Pete is wayy stronger and emotionally in control than this Pete. He definitely have Stockholm Syndrome no doubt. It looks like their relationship is developing an opposite direction in contrast of the novel, Pete is the one getting attached here and Vegas used him as a coping mechanism to get over his grieve. None of them have developed romantic feelings and they have a purely sexual relationship as of now.

BOC did them so dirty it's laughable, and I don't think they have feelings for each other at all. Vegas is just using him to get over his grieve and Pete has developed a bad case of Stockholm Syndrome.

I'll try not to hold any expectations for VP for next episode, I don't expect BOC at all to show the progression of their relationship well and not to mention screen time and I also feel they kinda ruined Pete's character.
I can't believe let go of the opportunity for freedom to comfort him for a hedgehog, his character seems so naive and too emphatic like a LOT more than novel Pete at least. He gave into Vegas too easily and atp I've no doubt that he developed Stockholm Syndrome. It seems they are now in a purely sexual relationship right now with Pete getting more attached than Vegas by the looks of it. That's totally different from the novel.
The music was too loud I wanted to them moaning and calling each other's names dammit, weird camera angles and their development was not convincing enough for me.
