Just finished watching the 2 new eps & Iām literally SHOOK at how good the drama gets ep by ep!!! Bailiās character development is so awesome to watch!! I literally screamed at the moment he said āBc Iām Baili Hongyiāš„ Also he canāt fight but he is so smart when in danger too!!

I can't believe those folks actually had the audacity to barg into Bai Li's house when he has just lost his father at the hands of a murderer to claim his treasures and properties, shameless. At least show a little bit of respect to the deceased and his family.
Altho the dad was only shown for a little while & his relationship w Baili was strained, the love he had for his son & his wish to have him protected thru marriage was conveyed well. Due to his passing, we could also see how much he meant to Baili
I didnāt even notice 5 and 6 going by I was far too intrigued by the plot. Itās picking up pace again, but now that I have context Iām loving it cause I donāt enjoy browbeating in dramas. Louyang gets to the point and I just- really dig that
Upto episode 2 I felt like the pacing was a bit too fast, 3 slowed down a bit and gave me some character background so that was lovely, 4 was a bit fast again(?) I remember thinking I was still not very clear on what was going on- but thatās a given considering the genre
