A must watch
*happy ending*No words can describe how much I am amazed by this show. Yu's acting is the best in this series. I keep screaming whenever I hear him speak Nihonggo only to discover that they casted a Japanese-taiwanese actor. I really felt and seen how he slowly fell in love with Shi de and boy he falls hard! I really like that Shu yi is very upfront of his feelings to Shi de once he fell in love. He is very straightforward and very cute!
Shi de on the other hand is very crafty. Very reminiscent of my younger self. Anything to get that chance! Hahaha.
I hope they could've increased the moments where they ended up together. But overall the story flowed really smoothly, and it leaves a feeling in your heart of how you wanted to finally fall in love.
Love love love this series soo much that I wanted it to be longer.

Not enough time even though it is long.
*happy ending*This is one of the longest BLs I have watched and I was excited to watch it.
What I love:
- No angst upon heartbreak. I love how they all still remain friends in the end.
- I love how the bij girl turned over to a new leaf and became friendly.
- I love the acting of the actors and the cinematography of the show made me felt like it is just like other korean shows. Just simple love story.
What I didn't like:
- There is not much screen time for the real couple in the series. It is more on the time to confuse the viewers to this other guy. Making viewers think that Tae kyung will end up with this guy, but he didnt. Which left a bit of bad taste to me. And because of that, I feel bad to the other guy who really ended up with Tae kyung.
- the time where Tae kyung fell in love with the other guy and getting over his heartbreak is so short as well. It felt like the other guy became the 'second choice' rather than 'he has been with me all this time' choice.

The feeling of longing is purely felt
*happy ending*This story is a breath of fresh air. I like how it shows the difficulties between choosing the person you like and your own responsibilities. Han tae joo took too long to notice his feelings and Hye mi became the 'mating horse' for our couple.
I feel that this series could have benefit from more episodes. The ending is too rushed, too short, and some of the conflict raised is still not solved. They just met in japan and then it ended like that with a kiss.
I guess its up to our imagination how they really ended. Still the cinematography of this series and the acting are top notch. This is a must watched for those looking for some lighthhearted angst of a love story.

Slow-burn romance
*happy ending**supporting parent on one side*
What I like:
I love the acting and the cinematography of the show. The enemies to lovers trope is also a trope I really like, add to that that they also live together ❤️
I also really love Shi lei's mother.
What I didn't like:
Honestly, the seme of the second couple looks a lot like my college crush so I had a hard time watching their part. I had to skip a lot of their scenes hahahaha.
What could've made it better:
I also didn't like the appearance of the ex of yuzhen and yu zhen being so inconsistent about his 'rules' so I hoped yu zhen had a more definite reason for the no dating policy and he should've taken better care of shi lei more.

The chemistry brought the series to success
*happy ending*This series is a good combination of romance, action and drama. And I loved every inch of it.
The main characters had the best chemistry, though at times Pond's face is a bit luckluster especially during serious conversations.
The other characters are very well casted. I loved every character, even the villain for their magnificent acting. I was deeply immersed to the story because of it.
The soundtrack is bomb. I had to save the whole album of the series in spotify because there is no song I didn't like. Highly recommended playlist.
The cinematography is chef's kiss. The color scheme is a mellow brown which gives off a feel of 90s kind of show.
The story may need a few tweaks though. There are parts that may seem like a stupid decision for the characters to do. Also, Palm never got out of his 'responsibility' love for Nueng which is kinda sad for me. I hope he learns to love himself as well and be spoiled to Nueng.
All in all, this is one of the best series created by gmmtv and a great series for PondPhuwin ❤️
Definitely a must watch!

The story needs a little bit tweaking to match the perfect chemistry
*happy ending*First of all, the main couple has fire chemistry. Even the kissings are so natural. Yang is also a great actor. I loved his crying scene where I can really see his lips tremble as he breaks down.
I hated phumjai's personality at first. The series being 8 episodes helped a lot in me not hearing another 'Tammy' come out in Phumjai's lips.
Tammy is soo beautiful, I really liked how her character is portrayed.
And, yes, my baby Ngern. I missed him so. That fanservice in episode 8 is chef's kiss hahaha.
Also, his acting is still top notch. I even cried in their breakup scene rather than the YangPhumjai one. Hoping to see more of him in the future.
All casts are really well casted and great that I felt somewhat disappointed that the story didn't utilized it more. Episode 8's first few minites was weird and ridiculous. The feeling of 'responsibility' towards money is also a bit stupid. Hello? There are rich parents over there. Can't even care to tell them that their son is kidnapped? Hello? Still owning it to responsibility? Urgh.
Still, I loved the OPness of Ngern's character. I hope they elaborated more on that as well and also Phumjai's chinese.
Casting and acting is really great on this one. I really liked that they really are speaking in chinese most of the time. I really felt the 'love in translation' part and that made this series great.
Hope they cast these actors in a more thought of series next time. Will still rewatch this though.

A show that showcased their growth in acting
*happy ending*We have been thirsty in having MaxNat in their own series and this show delivered it quite well.
Nat, especially, showed the utmost growth in acting that most of the times in the series, I cried with him. There are also times that his acting is so great that Max's acting look subpar. There was even a time that I shouted that Max should step up his game.
Nat has delivered his character well. I really felt Diao's intelligence in Nat's eyes. He is so expressive that you can see it it the screen when Diao realizes something in the conflict.
I really love Diao's power bottom personality. He is really steadfast about his ideals and what he wants and he doesn't waver in fighting for it. He is very upfront in showing love as well that it shocks Yi a lot of times.
The NC scene, especially the uncut is chef's kiss. There is still that odd feeling I always feel when watching MaxNat's NC scenes because of how really young Nat looks. But they did the mature scenes really well and realistically too.
The story, for me, is a 100 times better than cutie pie. It makes a lot more sense too. Cutie pie's conflict is not too big compared to this one. The flow and pacing is also quite well. And I understood the reasons for everything except why Diao still does not want to ride a car except if he is with Yi. When reading the comments in youtube, I can see that they did the novel portrayal very well. Though if you compared it to their cutie pie story, there will be a lot of discrepancies like lele and the timeline. But a lot said that they understand YiDiao's story more in cutie pie because of this series.
I loved watching this whole series. It is very funny, romantic, and well executed. Cant wait for MaxNat's next series.

I guess miscommunications works well with these two
*happy ending*I think they did a great job recreating the manga. They really did well in acting the tense scenes and making the love scenes seems sensual but without showing too much.
The actors are very handsome as well. Though i dont know if it is their acting or the leads' characters that are the problem. I think their characters are too static and flat. I am kind of sad that the series only showcased the part where there is not much development in their relationship and in their own careers. This series became somewhat like an introduction series ofr a future season 2, if there will be one.
I hope i can see growth in the next season in their characters as well as the actors' acting.
I still love though that their kisses is not a peck but also not a very deep kiss. I can feel them being comfortable with one another.
Must watch BL i might say. ♥️

A love story so good, you forget its yakuza
*happy ending*Man, Kataoka is so well written — he’s gruff but pragmatic. A man who doesn’t sugarcoat, doesn’t coddle, and yet, beneath that hard exterior, his actions speak louder than any apology ever could. He can beat a man bloody without hesitation, yet slip a quiet envelope of cash to an underling whose mother is sick — not out of pity, but principle. He’s a well-thought-out yakuza, yet somehow not a yakuza at the same time — someone who embodies both the violence of the world he lives in and the quiet morality that sets him apart. Such a complex persona.
Odajima, on the other hand, has a deeply dependent yet emotionally detached mindset, masked by his aloof and seemingly independent demeanor — and I’m glad he found his home with Kataoka.
The story is so well written and directed — a masterpiece told in only six episodes. Nothing feels lacking, and nothing feels excessive, yet I already miss them so much. I really hope they get another series together. Their chemistry and acting were so raw and believable; I was completely entranced from start to finish. It’s the perfect adaptation of the manga.
The depth of each character’s portrayal was remarkable too. Kiiri and Asahi left a lasting impression on me. I just hope Kiiri learned his lesson and learned to trust his “family” more. The car gun scene — which was also in the manga — still confuses me a bit; was it a blank gun? Why did they leave it on the beach side? These questions don’t affect my rating at all; rather, they deepen my appreciation for the story’s complexity.
It was dark, violent, and rough — yet they managed to weave in romance and tenderness so seamlessly that I almost became blind to all the red. Definitely a must-watch and a must-rewatch.

It's not just Jun and Jun
*happy ending*First of all, why is it so damn short? There are a lot of plotlines that could've extended the series to a whopping 15-episode one. This is one of the best korean BLs I have watched. 8 episodes is really just not enough. Because of that, it felt like the plot was rushed by episode 7. It was redeemed though by the love scenes, chef's kiss especially in the line of Korea's BLs.
The actors are sooo handsome, they act great too. I am just a bit sad that the main couple didnt had that much screen time together. For an short series, it was really not enough. Add to that the second couple who has a very intriguing storyline that they didnt even use! Hello? Ex manager and idol? Who doesnt love that?
The cameo? My tutoryim heart jumped with joy when I saw them.
How I wish this was longer. Or something that opens up a second season instead of them squeezing the whole story in a short series.

A highly recommended comfort BL
For those who are wondering, this series has a *happy ending* for all four couples.I watched this series because of Earth, but ended up loving every single cast. Here are some reasons why I love and recommend this series to watch:
- Comfort BL. If you are looking for something sweet, simple, and at the same time, well executed plot, then this series is for you. It covers different romantic tropes (enemies to lovers, long time lovers, friends to lovers, and admirer/fan to lovers) without too much angst and too much sweet moments. A perfect balance.
- Equal screen time. Another reason is that this series perfectly executed and mashed the four couples in one series. The main couple is not overshadowed and the secondary to fourth couples are not treated as side stories. There is equal screen time and the flow of the story to one couple to another is very smooth.
- Perfect balance of comedy, romance, and a bit of drama. Earth really improved on his acting that when he bawls in the series, I bawl with him. The comedy is well executed and the progress from enemies to lovers is so damn smooth. Not too fast and not too short.
- No toxic characters. Well, there are two. Tim, who is kind of a bit toxic, and the head counselor, but the rest are not. The main characters' sisters aren't toxic. They are not intrusive and are very supportive. There are no intrusive and over the top BL shippers in this series. The characters can even hold hands freely in the campus. The parents are also supportive and open.
- A good kind of cliché. A lot of reviewers didn't like the cliché tropes in this series. However, I got to say that the clichés in the series is well executed that I did not skip any part because of second hand embarrassment. Also, the story is engaging until the end.
Things I didn't like much in the series:
- The head counselor, but thank God that they didn't make the shipper thing progress the relationship till the end. She is funny though.
All in all, this series is soooo damn underrated. I watched Ai Long Nhai (ep 1-3) before watching this on a whim and I can say that this series is better than that. Also, I love that 'Support' is a prevalent theme in this series. This is a highly recommend series to me!! Watch it on Boyyent youtube!

Well, that was a weird last episode
*happy ending*Just like other reviews, the premise was chef's kiss. The overall plot that they are going through is unique and engaging. Quite cute as well. Plus the love scenes are superb. One of the best i might say.
However, it started going downhill a bit by episode 7. I didn't like that they added unnecessary scenes of Nara. I was soo weirded out of her sudden solo scenes. She is beautiful but I dont think those scenes about her are necessary. She even had about almost 20 mins of screentime in episode 8 and most is just her crying. I dont see the point.
The last episode is the weirdest for me. They added a flashback of the extra couple which I dont think is necessary. It took time that was supposed to be for the main couple's time to shine.
Speaking of flashbacks, what i also didnt like about this series is the amount of unnecessary flashbacks. I dont know why they keep reusing the scene that just happened as a flashback. Hello? The viewers does not have that short of a memory.
Anyway, Patt is sooo handsome. He looks a lot like Mamoru from Sailor moon. I also liked that I didn't feel any awkwardness towards both couples. Though the sudden GL couple was totally weird addition. It was like a spurn out of a moment thing.
I also dojt understand whats wrong with Tai. Maybe its the actor. Because there are times when he looks at Lom as if he is in love with him and even though he and Patt had a falling out, he doesnt look that sad. I think the actor needs a bit of improvement.
I love the cinematography of this show. Too bad that they added the best parts as a weird addition. For example, the sudden addition of sceneries in the last episode. Was it to garner tourists kind of tactic. Should have it part of the whole season instead. The music on the other hand is chefs kiss.
All in all, I am recommending you to watch it as it is one of maybe the middle high best of BL series out there. It might be something to rewatch, but it is a must watch.
