I want to watch this so bad because of Jiro Wang, but I don't think Koo Hye Sun is a good actress.. No offense.
The only problem I have with her is the dubbing for her because her mouth is practically closed half the time or not moving at all. The other issue is the weird mouth scrunched up movement she does, that IRKS me so much!! I don't see how she can stand to do that repeatedly!!!!!! I just feel bad for the whole cast because it must have been very hard to communicate with her since she did not learn Mandarin for the drama..
I'm on ep 3 right now. and I feel like dropping this..should I continue to watch? -.-
@EvaLovietta, I TOTALLY agree on the weird lip thing!! I only saw it a little in BOF but in here, she does it like there's no tomorrow!!!!! I HATED the lip movement!! I almost dropped this drama because of that!
I just finished watching this. Don't get me wrong, I like Koo Hye Sun, but I HATED the dubbing voice for her, the lip sync was totally off and her mouth would not move when there were lines. It must have also been difficult for the cast to communicate with her and act with her. This drama followed the manga, but I wish people would also check out the manga and Jdrama before judging Night. I didn't like the pronunciation or the subbing of Night (Nai Te), that irked me the most while watching. Jiro acted very well for Night, very believable but I still prefer the manga version of Night, as Night is more capable than how Jiro portrays him to be. I hope I don't sound too harsh on the actors & actresses... Please everyone else, READ THE MANGA AND WATCH THE JAPANESE VERSION!! Overall, this drama was very good and did follow the manga, which is a bonus!
Nothing against this drama but the Taiwanese version seems more original next to the Korean version so I'm watching…
Really? I thought the Japanese one was more similar to the Korean one. Scene wise, that is. You have the scene when the brother comes back, that is same in both Japanese and Korean. The giving of the necklace is also the same. The Taiwanese version changed those scenes... I also love the Taiwanese version, so I'm not speaking from a biased point of view.
Just finished the Japanese version. I loved this drama, but it felt like they deleted a whole lot of scenes compared to the original Korean one. And, compared to the Taiwanese one, this version seems more similar to the Korean one, scene wise, that is.. But I like how they emphasised the twins, the brother, in the Taiwanese one. I felt like the Japanese drama really flew by! All in all, I liked it and recommend it! =)
I felt this drama was amazing! It really followed the Korean one "You're beautiful". I LOVED the emphasis…
I just finished watching the Japanese version!! He definitely has more scenes, but again, not enough... They should have extended his appearance. It was nice to see him again though! =)
I felt this drama was amazing! It really followed the Korean one "You're beautiful". I LOVED the emphasis…
lol ok, good, I didn't see any comments about it so I was just wondering... Oh! And the male lead for You're Beautiful guest stars in the Japanese version, Ikemen Desu Ne! Looking forward to it! ^_^
I felt this drama was amazing! It really followed the Korean one "You're beautiful". I LOVED the emphasis they put on the twin brother, it's what I've been DYING to see, and now I can rest in peace! By the way, did anyone else notice the female lead in "You're beautiful" make a special appearance in this drama, or is it just me??
I learned a lot from this drama. The drama was ok at first but then it started repeating itself and getting very annoying & tedious... I honestly just wanted it to end and watched it to the end to find out what would happen to Dr. Jin. If you like watching people performing surgeries, go for it! I loved the bloopers at the end, if that counts for anything....
This drama is amazing!!!!!!!! It is very brilliant and gave me the most goosebumps I've ever gotten watching a Kdrama. So many twists and turns, and it's never boring or draggy. Pulls you right in from episode one and always keeps you wondering. Even the ending is so mysterious that we have tons of theories as to what it means! I absolutely loved this drama. I hesitated to watch it at first, but don't, just don't hesitate. And yes, it will make you think about it so if you don't like to think about your dramas while watching, then this drama probably isn't right for you. In conclusion, I highly recommend this drama!!
Honestly, I watched some of this drama awhile back, but lost interest. I decided to pick it back up and finished it this time. I don't like how Sheng Xue treats Zi Cong. I mostly dropped it in the first place because of this. I feel like he needed to have more respect as a human being and his own individuality, away from his princess. I just felt really bad for him throughout the drama, but then it got better at the end. I found it really hard to pick between the 2 male leads, because they both love her equally and they're both great! I loved the soundtrack, especially with Hebe singing "Ai Lai Guo", very beautiful!
I just finished watching this and I loved it! I don't understand why people gave it negative reviews but all I can say is, it's a drama where you have to be patient. Everything unravels one by one and you can't expect it all to happen at once.. For those who want the twins to appear, I have to say, it happens later on in the story. It ties everything together at the end, which makes up for the confusing beginning. All in all, I say, go watch it yourself because it's worth watching. You never know if you like it or not if you don't try! =)
