I think you need to watch again and pay close attention to what the doctor says. Treatment was non existent. There has never been a way to heal them other then her. He told her he was going away so she wouldnt be guilt ridden. Thats why his friend broke down outside the hospital room. Thats why he left her a letter. If he really did go away, theres no way shed be in that state. She could just go visit him.

Yea i was in shock. Its like the writer all of a sudden hated the leads and just killed them off. I wanted so bad for him to recover, then give us a time lapse 5 years later with them married with kids. But nope. Side couple got a happy ending thou.

I think the same way about killing off the leads. I understand leads dying is reality, but i dont watch dramas for bitter endings, i only want happy endings with marriage and babies lol

I 100% would watch it and not the last 2 eps. I wish someone spoiled the end for me. Last time i felt this way about a drama was "one and only" with ren jialun and bailu. Another awful end

Yes. FL is SO cruel to him the last 2 eps. Basically her kisses stop working. It wasnt her kiss, it was her love. But she manages to convince him she no longer loves him. By the time she realizes shes a selfish b, its too late. He dies. Then she falls into a comma. Nothings wrong with her psychically, just mentally. The dr says if she wakes up she may see hallucinations. It ends when she wakes up n leaves the hospital room. She hallucinates seeing him then faints again. He runs to her n kisses her. But thats their ghosts. She died at that moment and he was waiting for her. The b deserved to die. She never deserved his love! Poor guy rather die then inconvenience her
