I went into this drama and wasn't expecting to LOVE it as much as I did upon completion but it truly was THAT drama for me. UGH this drama has my heart in pieces and unable to move on despite finishing airing about 2 months ago.
Even though it was a sad and tragic ending which i knew and saw coming a mile away as their relationship started on lies and utter betrayal and XF's grandfather's death T_T. I feel a sense of satisfaction and bittersweet sentiments towards the ending. There was NO WAY this was gonna have a happy ending. It just was not possible and i understood why and I'm completely okay with it.
For once I'm okay with a Chinese drama having a sad ending.
I just had a few unanswered questions or maybe I missed them while I was wiping my tears T_T.
1. Did General Pei Zhao love Princess Luo Xi in the end as much as she did him? Because I felt like their relationship was pretty much one-sided even though it was super cute at times. Even though they got married, I can rest assure he would treat her right as much as he could.
2. Does Mi Luo like General Pei Zhao and vice versa? I totally shipped them.
3. After XF and LCY forgotten each and the memories of each other. Why did no one else say anything T_T. Gu Jian, Pei Zhao, Ah Du, all stood by and let the events unfold without saying a word of the past :(.

So Liu Ziye(bratty teenage ruler/emperor), Liu Chuyu and Zhu Que are all related and are siblings. Can someone explain what prophecy the empress was talking about when she mentioned she had to "kill" one of the twins aka Zhu Que?
Also now that Liu Ziye is dead, Zhu Que loses her memory and what about the real princess Liu Chuyu? What ever happened to the real Liu Chuyu? Did she drown in the first episode during the switch and never came back up the water?
