regarding the comments below about the plot being heavy, I absolutely agree. I work in a social sector and my organisation has an education projet for specially abled people. I have seen how the students there, many of them are over 18, act like children and as their parents are growing old they have to care for them like they are around 5 or 10 years old. Yes, the situation in this show is definitely different than what I am talking about but the family members go through many hardships w to care for them, be it parents or a loved one like in this show.
I am intrigued how this show will portray that, especially Perth as he has to be both peppy and happy before his boyfriend while in his mind there is inner turmoil of pain, sadness, love and also tiredness because caring for patients like this becomes tiring in the long run.
https://x.com/domedingdong/status/1863106495203930429?s=46The director basically confirms that it wont be that…
The director has "once Polca" on his bio is so cute and hilarious too. Also, the trailer does show that it is not so fluffy, there will be emotional rollercoaster.
people who are bashing or fearing that this may become "not good as expected" because the previously released BLs, please understand that those two were not even marketed as what vampire stands for tbh. From the trailers , it was pretty clear that those two were rom-coms and slapstick comedy. But MGB and Revamp are clear from their trailers that these two will have plotlines with darker tones. Now, if somehow we are being baited will be known only after the subsequent releases.
At this point I agree with a comment below that we better take this away from New's hand and probably give it to either Jojo or Ark Saroj. Ark has a good eyes in dealing darker themes, even if he is new.
I am digging this Interview With The Vampire ish photos. Idk why but I feel like some f them came out of the director's brain. Ark Saroj is a fine photographer and has great sense.
