As for the cute/bubbly scenes it just feels okay btw I haven't read the novel.

I agree with everything. The comedic roles were turning out perfect until it was done by Book, Poon and JJ. But with Santa and Aun, the comedy is not hitting me. The comedy roles are just there it's not actually making me laugh.
