yes they would screw up big time if they go for soul swapping in the end. I was also sure that it won't be the case but seeing so many theories on twitter and YT has got me thinking lol

They had their own sufferings and still they endured it all so that the other person could be happy. And finally when they decided to give their happiness a chance, they had to face this cruel fate. If what Haeun had for HB isn't love then I don't know what is. It's not that hard to read between the lines she used to say. unless people want to disregard the facts.
If Haeun had survived that day, then the pain she faced later on is unimaginable. She had been holding herself back, ignoring her own happiness so that this man won't be in pain after she's gone and in the end he gets killed mercilessly in front of her own eyes, that too by the person she tried to help. Every second that she was alive would have been a torment.

OMG yes!! criticizing SH is still understandable but HB???? that man was GOLD! The things you mentioned are proof that he was the best that a man can be. overprotective and toxicly possessive??? what on earth lol. He was trying to save his fiance from a potential serial killer and he's possessive? these kind of remarks leave me speechless tbh. i don't even have a reply to such absurd thinking :3 and in the end, he got killed by that particular guy only!! so where was he wrong?? i never knew caring for someone was considered a crime. i am learing new things everyday -_-

The proposal scene has all my heart. The one where Soohyuk repeats after Hyungbin's words (only complain is the witch fiance got to hear it). tbh I adore the character HB! What a guy he was. In our dissertation on complicated characters, we somehow forgot to appreciate this amazing human being.
An honest detective with a heart of gold but ready to leave it all for his love. He never had to think twice when it came to Haeun. He knew she didn't have much time, but he wanted to marry her, wanted her to die in his arms even if the thought of it killed him. He was ready to lead the rest of his life with her memories only as her widower.He just wanted to be connected/related to her even after her death. This guy wrote his proposal on all the books in that store! And when he realized someone is trying to harm her( all the proofs indicated GJC as the serial killer and he was stalking her), he was ready to leave his job in order to protect her, he was ready to kill. What did he do wrong to deserve this? I mean, this guy got killed on his WEDDING day. The day all his dreams were about to come true, the day their love was supposed to get fulfillment. But rather, they got separated forever, without doing anything wrong! Even in his dying moment, he kept saying "save her". It was heartbreaking. If this guy doesn't get a happy ending in this life then that would be the epitome of bad ending!

And as many are saying, he the soul swapping theory indeed turns out to be true, the whole drama would loose its credibility. GJC wished to be him even for a day and his wish gets granted? What about this guy? What did he do to deserve this soul swap? Wouldn't it be unbelievably unfair to him if he gets this punished for no fault of his own? Rather he should be compensated for the tragedy he faced in his previous life.

Also, I don't want them to be star crossed lovers. I have a bad feeling about this but I hope they'll both be alive in the end. Their love was pure, innocent and selfless. and it definitely needs to get the fulfillment that was denied.

The writer lady is playing them both. She is provoking SH against JB from the start, and because there are records of the incident SH is believing her.

And by saying ppl who "understand" him, I didn't mean those psychotic ppl that you mentioned. I was talking about ppl from NFS and his office who are "normal".
Again, I never said what he does is okay but it can be reasoned with.
And the "one thing" you are saying JB did was nothing small. It's not smth that can be defended. He instigated a murder!! He was already stalking a person day and night, let's say his brain doesn't work normally and he can't differentiate affection and obsession (which is not right either, but saying it for the assessment of his character). But to defend manipulating someone who is already out there to kill is out of bound.

You can criticize SH, you are free to do that. But let's be reasonable. Don't compare their deeds. SH character has not been written as mentally unstable but that doesn't mean he has to be perfect. People with flaws can be attractive too. But the flaws gotta be humane at least. And being mentally unstable doesn't give you a free pass to do whatever you want either. We may try to understand JB's actions but obviously that doesn't mean he won't be criticized.

This drama (especially KSH and our OTP) has made the dormant fangirl in me come alive!! Together let's root for them out guts out till the end <3

I am so happy that someone is shipping them as hard as me. I mean, come on, how hard is it to see their beautiful storyline? But instead i was feeling so left out after seeing all the comments lol. This drama gives me all kind of anxiety attacks but in the end it'll be all worth it if we get a happy ending :"D

I will really sue the writers if they mess up the ending. I am way too invested in their love story to see anything other than my babies finally being happy. They can't break my heart after fluttering it for so long :'(

The other person that you are talking about didn't just blink with creepy music in bg but went on to instigate a murder! How is it even comparable? I can write in great details about both characters, but don't mix them up. They both have their own stroy but nothing to compare.

No matter how smart, everyone is a fool in love. But he hasn't really done anything wrong to put her in the danger. Rather he is always there to save her, and he is always there without the "stalking".
And don't mix up his professional life with personal. Some mentally sick thugs are behind his life, how is that his fault? I am not saying he was right to fabricate evidences. His act was wrong but his reasoning aren't, that's why ppl around him supported him even though they knew about it. He is not always right but he is not a bad human being from any aspect. Yes he is not kind to criminals, but he has valid reasons to act like this.
Not everyone has the same personality( and we get to see enough kindness thanks to our FL). He has seen the price for showing kindness to criminals and that too in a very hard way. These are not excuses but counter logic..facts?
The HB in him is saving SB and the HE in SB is saving SH. Because they are basically the same person when it comes to each other. The only difference is that SB has already realized her love and SH was trying to deny it and was rather confused.

From our conversation till now, I think you are fixated on this idea that KSH is harming SB by keeping her by his side(!) but that's probably because this is the only thing that could be pointed out as a flaw in his character ( logical or illogical, let's not go into that discussion). So discussing about it seems quite unfruitful to me now.

Anyway, I'll just say that both JB and SH has different character journey. Try to understand them both and don't make this a competition. Because then there's no way for JB to win :3

OMG Yasss!! He could take on the world all by his badass self but when it comes to Sabin and her safety he looks like a lost puppy :') Usually he is so smart, calm and collected but whenever it's about her, he goes all crazy. See how he rushed to the NFS like a madman, but then went all cold when saw she was fine. His character has it's own kind of goofiness too lol. And did you see his expression while reading her text? He is never like that but only with Sabin all equation changes.
This KSH character is an eye candy and LSH is cherry on top. I can't get enough of him.
Also, I love how they feel so deeply for each other, they don't realize it yet but they can do anything for each other. Their love has surpassed everything and still stayed so strong. They deserve each other, they deserve happiness please T_T

IKR!! It's been a while that I have been so enthusiastic about a drama. Nothing much interests me these days but this one!! I keep repeating every scene and try to catch every details. I keep waiting for some new clue to be disclosed. From start to end i am always super excited and nervous about each scene, like what may happen now!!! At the beginning of every episode I'm hoping my heart out that they won't turn KSH into a second lead all on a sudden lol. Their romance feeds my need of angsty lovestory (hope it'll be a happy ending for them, cz we have had enough angst already). And man!! I am in love with this KSH character. He has just the right amount of everything in him! I even notice the twitch in his eyes, and repeat 3/4 times ?? this drama deserves SO much better. It should be somewhere near the top :(

I have no idea why the rating is so bad. This is one of the best dramas I have seen in a while. The plot is intriguing and the romance is addictive. I haven't gone crazy like this for a OTP for years. The actors are doing a great job too. The visuals are out of the world. There's not a single reason to not like it, in my opinion. I am obsessed with this one

He goes around saying he doesn't care so that no one gets the wrong idea and also because he himself wants to believe that. He had his way in life, he didn't care about anyone like this and he had his goal set to punish the criminals my any means maybe to atone for his father, or maybe he just took a lesson from that incident. In any way, he was never afraid of anyone. He did what he thought was right even if it meant risking his own life. And apart from it all, he is a prosecutor to begin with, he will have enemies anyway
he deals with criminals and he has the ability to fight them too. But now this girl is changing it all. He cares for her and is desperate to save her even before he can comprehend the situation. Just in this case, he does things from heart and so it may seem irrational. But it's the most humane he has ever been too. It was unnecessary to go to the gangster and talk about her I agree. But they were the ones who attacked him twice and are after his life, so it's quite natural of him to think it was them. It might have seemed stupid but then again it was just his desperate attempt in keeping her safe.
And he doesn't behave badly with her. In fact he is always caring towards her, just tries to act cool and pretend that he doesn't care. This is very normal in kdramas. Also, he knows in his mind that he is engaged so he tries not to take things further with her. We are always very conscious in front of the ppl we love. He lets his guard down around ppl, maybe that's why it looks puzzling but he is just fighting with himself, trying to rationalize his feelings but ultimately surrendering. No one forced him to be in that relationship but he didn't know he could love someone back then. He started dating her because she said smth similiar to Haeun let's not forget that too.
And Sabin knew she would be in danger if she remained close to him. But still she chose him over the danger, didn't she?

Sorry to say i disagree with all that you said. He may seem cold and rigid from outside but he certainly is not Sabin's enemy by any means. He never acted like he won't let anyone near her. He has enough reasons to doubt Jongbum's intention and so he is trying to protect her. Which is in fact very normal of him. He is still figuring out why he can't control his emotions for sabin. He's trying to disregard his own emotions because he is engaged. But he CAN'T, that's why he ends up rushing to her whenever he thinks she is in danger. It's not his fault that ppl are murderous and goes around attacking him. Should he stop caring for someone just because ppl are after him? Sabin jumped in to save him twice, and it was her choice. And about the car crash. It wouldn't have happened if she wasn't with him? Was it his fault that he didn't know someone is going to try and kill him? Was it not Sabin who wanted him to go to the bookstore with her? I think you totally discarded the love they had for each other in previous life. That was pure and strong and selfless. It's still there between them, they just don't know it yet. Let's not try to turn him into something he is not.

Lee Soo Hyuk is the star of this show. Everytime time he comes on screen it gets more interesting. He has this aura that will keep you glued to the series and root for him like hell. He is doing such a great job playing KSH. I have no idea how and why the ratings are not up

Mine too! He sets the screen on fire with his charisma. And the character itself is so lovable and swoon worthy!
