The subs are OK for me I've honestly seen so much worse. I'm guessing actors are students too.
It's got an interesting story and some decent characters. Taking the limited budget etc I think it's OK. Better than I could do.

I thought Akin number 1 too. a friend said the competition hadn't finished yet but seems strange scene otherwise imo.

I really wanted to like this as inlove the original and there's already been a decent remake, unfortunately on a whole I didn't. It was just too comedic and the way it was changed to suit gmmtv format didn't suit it. The original was able to have multiple arcs but here so much padding and so much cut. I miss Choko. Chiefs wife had an excellent arc and cutting her our for a teenage daughter poor. Which in turn diluted NewYears role. Thoroughly wasted. Earth and Mix kept me watching and I loved Krit as Boss.
While it's the better of the 3 JBL adaptations it was a missed opportunity imo.
For those who feel different I'm glad you enjoyed it.
