So it looks like the official channels that we are paying for are looking to make more money with making those…
You're paying to watch it legally as soon as its available. It's as simple as that. Your money supports the official channels and they get to use it to make more better quality shows.
They'll release it along with the next episode? Seems a little unproductive not telling the audience when the immediate next episode/s will be out but telling them the schedule for the remaining 6 days. Or will the schedule be out sooner? I'm not entirely sure how tv scheduling works in China.
I know the intern likes her and can pursue her but he's really annoying 😑
She turns him down, rather bluntly, at every given instance. And he stops being a bother soon (that is if the show follows the progression of the novel). There's absolutely nothing to worry about.
Ever since I've heard the casting news I've never once thought I'd say this but Zhang Ruonan is perfect as Wen Yifan. Everything I've pictured from the novel and then some.
Imagine guys, I'm still holding on my patience to start with this drama. It's killing me ðŸ˜ðŸ˜Please release…
Just wait it out if that's what you want. People are going to tell you to ignore that and just watch it as it's airing. At the end of the day, it's up to you there's still 20+ episodes left, if you think you can wait patiently, then watch it daily if not just wait. I'm one of the few who does not regret watching it as it's scheduled but the 1 episode per day for the next few days is excruciating. If I had known better I'd have waited for 3/4 of the drama to be aired before I started. But it's too late for me.
And am I not the only one who got confused with Wen Yi Fan's Director and her aunt?Same hairstyle and similar…
She's replying for the sake of replying. Think of it as her taking the first step at reaching out, him being aloof/unresponsive and her trying to safe face.

They are completely different people. Even as someone who isn't into cdramas (or as someone who isn't even Asian, I can tell. If you need to, look at the mydramalist cast for each episode.
For the latter part - she says "happy new year". He responds with a "?". She replies with "even if you are not happy it's fine". If you bunch together all the subtitles it makes sense.
Drop it. This is for people that enjoy angst and melodrama, it gets fluffier ofc but there is still plenty of…
I don't know what to say mate. If you don't like how it's been, it's not going to change your outlook for one actor. This is the story, this is how it's paced, this is how it's told. Maybe read through the novel, I'm not sure if it'll help. If you insist on watching it maybe wait roll it's aired then see if there's a need a to fast-forward through the episodes. If you've not liked the first 7-8 episodes, I can't say that you'll like the 24 episodes. Logically speaking this isn't for you since you're not a fan of 1/3rd of the show as is. If you're interested in the story maybe read the story or the graphicbook first then decide on whether to further continue the series.
The cinematography in the rooftop ballet sequence alone is top notch. As someone who hasn't watched much Chinese or Asian dramas in general, if the majority of the regions dramas had that filmmaking outlook, I'm sure I'd be watching a lot more Asian dramas in the future.
I've been following this drama for a very long time. Well before the cast was announced and back then I can't help but say I was somewhat disappointed.
But wow, Zhang Ruo Nan, someone who I've never rated as a good (well above average) actress has come in and made me feel like I had placed my foot in my mouth. She was never my first choice for the role of Yifan, let alone my second or third choice, but if the performance level stays the same, I'm sure I wouldn't be able to picture anyone but her as the character. She's been exactly what I pictured when reading the novel. Excellent work from her, the director, the screenplay writer, cinematograper and the rest of the crew. Hope she follows this showcases her range in the next few years
It's a definite recommendation from my end. But if you're someone who hasn't read the novel or the webtoon, maybe wait another week or two and binge watch the majority of the series. It's a slow burn terrific romance and the leads will not become a thing any time soon (though there'll be plenty of hints along the way). Provided the drama doesn't stray away from the original material, that is.
The people complaining about the constant comparison between HL and the TFF are exhausting, no doubt. But the other group of people complaining about these people comparing is just as exhausting. Ignore them, when they don't get the attention they seek in due time they'll move elsewhere.
Very well said! Plus in Hidden love we didn't really get to see a lot of Sang Yan's personal life. Plus, as you…
Sang Yan is already living together with Yifan by the time Sang Zhi returns home during her university vacations. Hence his quip about someone (Yifeng) pursuing him, when Sang Zhi comments that he should go on blind dates with Jiaxu.
To those who know the story, has Yifang made it explicitly clear that she isn't interested in anyway to Xiang Liang? Does he pursue her further or does she allow him to under the guise of not knowing what she wants? I purely want to know how much longer this loosely strung together attraction/triangle lasts. If he doesn't stand a chance when does she explicitly make it clear or does she string him along because she's unsure of her feelings for Sang Yan?
When does he essentially become a character we don't need to worry about or even consider as a love interest? Does this drag or for much longer or does she end it quickly? (from where we're at at episode 6 that is)
anyone knows which chapter in webtoon is the confession and them getting together?
If you're asking about the manhwa she explicitly tells him she's going to pursue him in Chapter 88. They get together around the same time. We know well beforehand that they are are both into each other, this is just the point where they voice it and make it official.
I've only seen the English version of the webtoon though. Not sure if the chapters were edited or put together differently in the original. Hope that helps.
idk about you guys but for people pointing out zhang ruonan acting as bad, i guess we just have different intepretation…
I like Zhang Ruonan as Yifan. She's pulling it off very well. But now that you've mentioned Wang Churan, I can't help but picture her in the role and she would have been perfect for it. Why'd you have to do this? Oo
as far as i remember it was just in the starting for some time
Proper shame that. Loved focusing on the two main leads dealing with their own problems and opening themselves to accept one another. Shoehorning another love interest seems very overbearing, tropey and unnecessary. Was that how it was in the web novel as well?
