Such a small thing. This could have been such a deep story around domestic violence in queer relationships, uneven power dynamics and abusive partners and how it is an invidious gradual pushing of boundaries until all lines are crossed and the victim almost becomes complicit in their own abuse. It had the hint of thay with the slap scene but any interesting plot points were pushed out for what? A plot so loose it fell off the episodes entirely 😬🙄😒
