Actually even if it’s filmed for 40 episodes if youku’s new policies are applied ( idk whether it’s true but highly rumored ) it’s either gonna be cut into 12 episodes or the script is originally written for 12 episodes. And it’s said that big dramas with more than 12 episodes should finish airing within this year because starting 2026 their new policies are applied. And as for LXY playing as a master if I’m not wrong he is also a master in love never fails and it’s rumored that the drama will air soon. Also a moment but forever is rumored for March.

It’s likely to be li hong yi and yang yutong. There are no recent rumors of Liu xueyi playing this drama anymore . So it’s likely to be them. Tbh I have no problem with the current leads as well.( even though it’s not confirmed who will play this drama). The only thing I’m worried about is how they gonna wrap up this drama in just 12 episodes. Apparently youku will only make 12 eps dramas from 2026 and it’s unlikely this will air this year so…

Seems like narrow road is her next project. Though I would like her to shoot a historical drama next this one is not bad either.

I have no idea how youku going to sum up a drama with just 12 episodes. Especially historical ones. Hope that other platforms do not do this. Agreed 12 epsiodes of WH is not enough.

She is a beautiful actress. The first frost is my first drama of hers and I have to say that she really gave life to the character WYF. Looking forward to more of her projects in the future.
