Lu Yuxiao is still filming her historical drama w/ Tan Jianci for a few months so it's likely a fake š so we…
DYX will probably start filming Si gong Ling with Song zuer in March, so this could be his next project after that. By then, LYX might also be done with the current project. But itās still just a rumor.
I just hope they don't. I would love to see them collab for the second time but not this one unless they make…
I heard the ML character setting is very bad in the novel. However, the novel is very popular in China. If you look into the novel, youāll understand what I mean.
stop making it bitter. The novel itself is FL centric & screenwriter is novel author. he Yu accepted the role…
True I feel like this drama is a waste of time but then again he accepted this before SAL aired. Atleast let the guy finish filming his scenes at once and let him move on to another project at this point I donāt see him as a main lead more like a guest appearance lol even guest appearances have much more screen time than this. I keep on going back to the drama page to see whether he has started filming but no just 1 or 2 days and this guy disappeared again.
Rebirth of Ice Lake" has been rescheduled to April, due to Tencent iQIYI's rehearsal conflicthttps://k.sina.com.cn/article_7096020439_1a6f4add706801nsku.html?from=ent&subch=oentThe…
I wonder what Tencent will air if itās not this one. iQIYI is airing HDY, and Youku is airing UJ. I heard Generation to Generation is planned for February, but that would be late February.
Why are they doing this to my favorite webnovel? :( The main character is a woman, why is it a man in the series?
I understand that this is a female centric novel, but having a male lead in the drama doesnāt mean the female role is being weakened. Bao Shangāen alone realistically canāt carry this drama yet, especially since she doesnāt have strong traffic. From a market perspective, it makes sense for the production to rely on two leads rather than just one.
The novelās author is also the screenwriter, so the female character will definitely remain strong, but that doesnāt mean there canāt be an important male lead. Many female-centric novels change when adapted into dramas unless the female lead is played by a top traffic actress who can carry a project on her own, which isnāt the case here.
Both actors are new and equally billed, which usually means equal importance and screen time. This is a drama adaptation, not a direct copy of the novel, so changes are normal. I donāt think itās fair to judge the drama too early.
I first discovered him as Ye Dingzhi in Dashing Youth, and thatās when I became his fan. I knew he had a very bright future and have been looking forward to his main lead roles ever since. I was so excited when he was cast in Speed and Love that I started reading the novel. He truly deserves the recognition, his acting as Jin Zhao was marvelous. Canāt wait to see more of his dramas.
He will start filming the drama Di Mou alongside Bao Shangen, and reliable Melon sources say filming will begin around December 31st. Today, there was another melon claiming that he may star in a project alongside Wang Churan, but I donāt take it seriously. Since he is starting his next project this month, I donāt think the latter drama has been decided yet. Still, we donāt know, anything can happen
yeah itās kinda rare novel fans actually support drama version , but currently in mainland , almost all novel…
Agreed. As a novel reader, Iām very satisfied because it stayed extremely close to the original. The changes they made were minor and actually worked well for the drama everything flowed smoothly. I especially liked how Jiang Muās stepmother and sister were portrayed more kindly, and Iām also glad they changed Jin Zhaoās injury so he only needed rehabilitation instead of losing his leg. Those adjustments made the story even better for me.
Finally finished watching. Iām extremely picky with modern C-dramas, and this year I only watched four: First Frost, Reborn, Be Passionately in Love, and Speed and Love. I didnāt expect this one to hit me so hard itās without a doubt my favorite with First Frost coming second.
As someone who read the novel and loved it deeply, Iām so grateful for this adaptation. Apart from a few small changes, it stayed so close to the novel, and many scenes were exactly how I imagined them. Watching them come to life was somewhat emotional.
The casting is perfect. I honestly canāt imagine anyone other than Esther Yu and He Yu as Jiang Mu and Jin Zhao. Their chemistry is amazing, and they completely became the characters for me.
From the beginning to end, I was fully immersed. Not a single episode felt boring. Iāve been waiting for this drama since the cast was confirmed, and it exceeded all my expectations. Definitely a rewatch worthy drama. A solid 10/10. Iām gonna miss them so much šā„ļø.
