Normally, in dramas, leads parents are shown as younger versions of themselves. Also, in the first case (the tailor), he said he heard Yesha’s voice on the boat. I can’t wrap my head around who Yesha really is. But I love this suspense. I’m starting to suspect that Yesha might actually be the male lead’s biological father maybe 🤔or his twin like u said. No matter what, it’s definitely clear that was the male lead’s voice at the end of episode 25.

The drama get better and better with every episode.

Finally caught up with the ending. This drama was incredible. Every episode had me on edge with no boring episodes. The perfect balance of mystery, politics and romance. ARP and LLD did a great job love their chemistry. The osts were great and the second cp was super cute. A solid 10/10 for me. Definitely a rewatch worthy drama.

This is actually crazy… After reading all this, I genuinely feel bad for Xu Kai. Like, what does it say about the industry when an actress who went on a two-year hiatus can come back and target someone just because he doesn’t have strong backing to protect him? Xu Kai has been working non-stop these past two years with good projects, quietly rebuilding his career after everything he went through. And now someone who’s been away for two whole years comes back and tries to step on him just to make herself look better?? It’s honestly so unfair.
I’m not a big fan of the actress and haven’t watched any of her projects yet, but I do have Cousin Wanfu on my watchlist purely because of the male lead
