My friend start watching this drama.(she is still on halfway of the drama) and she point out another view about XF that I have never thought it before...so I want to share it here.
She said "XF is the most pitiful and lonely person" I was like " Really? Not RY??? Why?"
This was what she said.
Yes. XF get whatever he want but do you realize those are not what he truly wanted. He is the one who has to carry a lot of burden.
He is just a living puppet. As he is the only Legal son of the Emperor, everyone already know that he will be next king. For that reason, not only his parents, everyone must have an expectation on him (Like how they want him to be become) Not only that they will definitely be keeping an eye on him and he has to be careful with every single move . Just how many people surround him might be spy?? He won't even know how to have fun in life.
What make his life even more miserable was having that kind of so called "Empress mother" His childhood must be trauma. The worst thing for a kid is having that kind of mother who control you, demand a lot of from you and give you everything that she think that is good for you in a name of love; even if they are not what you want, you have no choice and forced take it. Not only that she did a lot of bad things that later XF have to clean up all her mess. Additionally, she must has a lot of enemy and those people want to harm XF....With all of those in his life...he might have chose to submit to his fate, living like a puppet, Lifeless... day after day...month after month...(PS: My friend kinda has bad controlling mother so...she knows)
He is obviously Legal Heir but he does not seems to live his life in Luxury with a lot of maids servant...As far as I remember he only have 3 guys...
His is actually a lonely person .......passing his lifeless monotone life...and that was until he fall into someone's trap (because of his mother wrong selfish doing) and met that funny/ Pure little grape who don't even care about his identity and treat him as normal person. May be that was when he fall for her and start seeing colors in his world. (If not, with his personality, how would he bring her to heaven...and she is a girl). She is the reason he decided to change his destiny and seek for his "previously thought impossible" dream...to living a normal happy life away from everything...
And of course RY is pitiful too because he was always alone.....

I think he did. If not why would he keep her as his desk boy even knowing the fact that she is a girl. If you observe carefully, all his surrounding are male servants unlike other gods.
Now I wonder...JM is the only girl he choose to be by his side. That must be why other people (other gods and XF servants) definitely know that there is something going on between them.

I think YZ's role at Ode to Joy also did affect her image. There, her role is kinda annoying ... well...some people just cannot differentiate between acting and real life...

Sorry I don't mean to be negative or anything . I really just don't understand. There is drama summary to begin with (to decide whether they like it or not) If it's not their liking they can just drop it. Why bother force watching and rating?

And I'm not only talking about this drama. I have seen a lot of drama that deserve better rating but all rating were just drag down for the reason "it's just not their cup of tea">(-.-)<

Eternal Love aka Ten Miles of Peach Blossom

To those who can't stop comparing EL and AOL,

Since everyone has been comparing this two drama, I also rewatch and compared both to make sure. (For me the only part I rewatch in Eternal love is YH's and AL's from ep 26 and onwards. Don't get me wrong. I also am a huge fan of EL.) but I found nothing to compare.. AOL just stands on its own.

AOL - Ashes of love
EL - eternal love aka TMOPB
If I have to compare,

Acting:
AOL chemistry is much stronger, the acting is better (in EL, u can see how awkward BQ is. The only thing I can see is YH and AL's acting. YH character is so devoted and his acting is amazing.)AOL's cast is much younger( in their 20s) People!! please do appreciate that they can act this amazingly well!!

CGI:
CGI is much better ( in EL, watch the scene how YH died! I don't even sheared a single drop of tear)

Plot:
Entirely different story! AOL doesn't have 3 lifes in order for them to learn and not to repeat their mistake. They did not married and have a baby halfway to make the show lively.
Everyone just point out the fact that XF protecting his mom is wrong. Remember BQ abandoned her child and drink pill in order for her to not remember. It's by choice.
In EL, YH did not have Rival!!! but XF have amazing RY -.-!

Rating drama is just like dating. Cannot compare first love with current partner! they are entirely different! Even though you think your first love is the best, after dating around and date first love back again might not feel the same.

Anyway, what I am trying to say is, to rate drama, PLEASE do think carefully. Don't be biase and rate 1/10 just to drag below your favorite drama.
There are actor /actress and the staffs who put a lot of afford for just one drama to come out.
There are also viewers who watch drama base on the rating.

Ikr...that's why I rate it 10. The only drama that I feel like coming back here.

Rating drop again....It's such a pity that some people try to drag this down...I wish people will stop comparing this with TMOPB....

I feel you. When I start picking up other dramas, I'm like..."plot is not exciting enough, acting is not good enough, More importantly Chemistry between the leads are not good enough"
HSALF is the only drama that I could wait everyday for new episodes and finish it till the end.
Usually I skip the show when I start to feel bored and just watch the ending ????

After 20 episodes, JM become mature and everything start to become serious. The show start talking about the side characters so that everything will make sense when RY become his revenge, JM kill XF and XF become Demon lord.
If you don't know the plot line in advance...you might mistakenly think why it become no comedy anymore.
Iife is like that... There is full of up and down....people cannot be naive all the time.
I recommended you to spoil yourself a little bit so that you will know brief story line and not miss all the good part

Tried watching Secret of Three Kingdom and after 10 episodes...don't feel like continuing anymore....Just how many dramas did I drop and put on hold these days?!! I might as well rewatch this drama with eng subtitle...
