I've come full circle to the BL that started it all for me in 2017. so nice to see the resilient chemistry, even better acting skills and so much better picture and sound quality. fascinating that Singto and Krist seem to be the only SOTUS actors in this. Off is still at GMMTv. would've loved a role for him. even it was a cameo.

so you want Thai dramas to only feature cotton candy fluff and fantasyland depictions of Thailand because of tourists? make this even make sense bro. There are poor people in Thailand, there are slums snd there is crime. anyway, the story is not for you. drop the series and move on. Leave the series to the rest of us who are loving it and please stop trying to paint a negative picture of it just because it is not your cup of tea.

this is deep. Soren is lieterallt overwhelmed by his feelings for Jun, whatever these may be, that are making hin possessive and really mean.. Playing those pranks onJun was really cruel and it was sad to see him be ejected from the meeting and crying in the stairwell..,
I really wish zJube will meet someone to rub in Soren's face like he is doing with Penny....poor Jun.

For those who are bored with the cookie cut cute BLs, this is something for you. I am tired of the fluff and like the harsh, gritty real iLife tone. No ever tone in Bangkok is super rich, going to university, living in their own condo while also staying at their parents' lavish mansion. So refreshing to have a real story with very complicated family dynamics between half siblings.

Loving this series and the character development. Really like the ZeeNunew pairing in this. was not feeling their characters in Cutie Pie.

I like Bom playing a completely different character from I will knock you. looking foward to seeing Pond and Peterpan in starring roles.

we've come full circle here and back to the beginning. I am living for it. SOTUS was my gateway to over 200 BLs that I have consumed since 2017 so will always love these two.

I am annoyed by the low rating. This series is intriguing, gritty different with good acting. it deserves a higher rating. Btw, what is the name of the actor who plays Madam Heeaw's lackey ? His eyes were so wide and unblinking in that scene in the temple!

Nope - I am still not convinced it would work for a thriller with serious plot twists. I guess the remake will appeal to JDrama fans who have not seen the Korean original. Or unless they are going to change the storyline completely.

Love how I recognize so many of the actors.. There's Pran's dad (Bad Buddy) who is apparently a veteran Thai heartthrob, there's Solo's dad (Oxygen) - who, interestingly I did not recognize at first.... There's also the actor Top from Every You Every Me plus the guy who played the brother of his love interest in that series. Finally, the main lead Tape is from My Tuxedo.

I am loving this series....such a breath of fresh air from Thai BLs saturated with porcelain doll looking guys and university campuses. This series is giving real grit with some KinnPorsche mafia vibes but it is way more street than KP.

The dubbing threw me off and seemed unnecessary. The father could've just spoken to his son in Thai and have him respond in English......not sure why they felt the need to do the dubbing.

Can't wait until next week and I hope more people will tune in to Gagaoolala to appreciate this series.

Hmmm not sure how a remake would work since the people most interested are likely to have seen the Korean version and we all know the storyline went....

Loved the slow burn and the beautiful ending. I think any more would've been too much....It was more coming of age and navigating one's feelings on the part of the characters rather than cultivating romance between the leads...

Although I wrote that it has a lot of characters - I am looking forward to this one. I like the rough setting making it away from the usual university or school setting. Plus it has the brilliant Top Piyawat who was excellent in Every you Every Me - a completely underrated actor. I hope he gets to the flowers he deserves....

beware of elephants and beautiful scenes in Thai BLs...they come with sad endings....think elephant park in Chiang Mai circa 2016....

Yes ! SOTUS is significant for Thai BL because even though there were BL couples in other series, this one was one of the first series where the BL plot was the main focus. GMMTV took a huge risk and it ended up paying off. it is so interesting that if you look at GMMTV's content from 9years ago, it was mainly straight series and now it is mostly BL series. Kiss the series was another example of the popularity of BL couples, The BL side couple managed to eclipse the straight couples in both 1 and 2. I highlighly recommend SOTUS for the storyline and launching some of the BL tropes that we loved for many years like the BL university storylines and the KristSingto ship that is sailing once again. UWMA is another classic that I watched while it was airing. can't do it again because it left me bawling...another great series.
