And the girl we keep seeing is flashbacks of how she became the owner (when the girl made her wish there a guy at the counter infering it happened a long time ago) . Theory rn is she made a wish for her kid to have a better life and somehow the dad took him to the states when he was young enough not to remember his mom and like never mentioned her ig.
