These are Wang's words to In, before leaving. He is appeased, and you will notice that he doesn't incriminate his mother, He knows her well, her flaws but her love for him too. And why would I contradict Wang ? He is smart enough not to be fooled.
"Do you know how much I learned last night ? i asked myself. Why should I accept your decision ? Why can't I do what I want to do ? If I insist on staying here, I know I will win this fight. No one wants to lose, right ? But then, it hit me. If I win, who will lose then ? Not me. Not you. It will be her who stayed up for me last night. I asked myself : what did she do wrong ? Was she wrong because she loves me and wants to protect me from the outside world ? But this world doesn't belong to anyone. So, one day I know I'll be able to break free. Because I still have time. Yes, time is on my side. That's why I decided to leave. But just because I decided to leave doesn't mean I lost. The one who lost isn't me or Mom."
For me, it is clear that Wang took his own decision, based on what he felt, and not on what others wanted him to do.
Of course she was talking, and haven't even noticed Wang's tears. This was very intentional, it was like a cheery…
Hmmm I'm not sure of that. If yes, Siam was an idiot to agree marrying her. But, I know things were not so easy, years ago. I like to share ideas with other people. It reminds me my school years and that question that drove me crazy everytime "What do you think the author wanted to express ?" 😂
Of course she was talking, and haven't even noticed Wang's tears. This was very intentional, it was like a cheery…
She is, overall, a woman who has suffered. We take for sure she is selfish and manipulative. And yes, she is. But I don't forget she married a man who didn't love her and chose to have a "normal life", until he couldn't stand it anymore. She has all rights to feel betrayed. Because no one knows if she forced Siam to marry her. In never alludes to it. She thought Siam shared her feelings and then, both of them suffered. So, yes, she may be selfish and overpossessive, but she is only human...and a mother. Wang knows all of this; he is strong enough to resist. And here, his choice was to go back with her, not because she manipulated him, but because he decided it.
Well, this ... show 🤔 I can't define it. It amuses me (I don't take it seriously) and at the same time, I wonder how far we can go in the interstellar void. Fahlan is much nicer to me than Sher (those who have read the novel will understand me) and he is ultimately much more sincere: he never hid that he was a player and that he had one-night stands ; even Tle suspected it although he didn't want to admit it. Besides, he himself had another lover. In short, banal. And, yeah, the kissing sucks, the dancing scene sucks, and other than sex and booze, there's not much deep in their lives. They go to class, sometimes... At the same time, the book was not eventful either. Well, after 180 degree longitude, it's distracting.
Of course she was talking, and haven't even noticed Wang's tears. This was very intentional, it was like a cheery…
She is perfectly aware of Wang's feelings : have you seen how she looks at him, with anxiety ? She knows he is suffering; and she knows she has just won this battle, because Wang chose his mother (he says it to In : I chose the one who waited for me all night.
Lol..well bl partners we got duped…a great drama butnot one kiss…at least in A Thousand there was a kiss at…
It wasn't meant to be fluffy and the fact that there were no kisses is, in my opinion, perfectly fair. The purpose of this series was elsewhere. I also don't think that when Mol said "You disgust me" it was related to In's sexuality, After all, only Siam expressed his feelings. In ran away from him because of this; he never returned the same feelings to Siam. I think it's more related to the fact that In came between her and the two men in her life.
As expected, it was a painful journey. The end was tough and I was just looking forward to it all being over. Pond's performance was admirable and my heart broke when he expressed his feelings so well. Wang is a mature and courageous young man, who goes forward in the daylight. In's life is meant to be made of evenings, it's the way he has chosen, making no decisions, back then or now, that might upset the order of things. I could pity him, but in fact I don't think he deserves it; he made his choices, and others are paying the price. As for Mol, I've always had sympathy for her and Mam knew how to make human this woman devoured by regrets and suffering, who clings to her only treasure, her son. She knows she will have to let go one day, Wang says he will come out of this mental carcan when the time is right; and he will. She is aware of what her son is going through, her worried looks in the car on the way back to town show it. It was a drama out of time and sprinkled with messages, amazingly well filmed. I loved following it, but now I need something light. For me, a 10/10. I'm not sure, however, that I will be able to see him again anytime soon.
But why would he ask her if she wanted to try a LDR when she can't even spend one day without him without getting…
I think we (maybe) can't be sure if the translation is good... And as we are not fluent in Thai ... 😁 But yes, it is alawys pleasant to share some ideas. By the way, I'm totally OK with what you said about Cake's feelings for Eiw, in another comment.
But why would he ask her if she wanted to try a LDR when she can't even spend one day without him without getting…
The point is : they are young. And you mentionned it several times. I remember how I was in my youth. All is very difficult to handle. Of course, Cake didn't decide to go abroad. But, and this is what Rin says, he could have informed her before. These are feelings a young girl can have. But this, of course, is my own opinion.
But why would he ask her if she wanted to try a LDR when she can't even spend one day without him without getting…
I agree with you. Rin is a young girl and Cake is certainly her first boyfriend. Don't forget this. She is not selfish, she is just exclusive. It's human. And yes, she has the right to be a bit jealous of Eiw. Her boyfriend just said to her he preferred spending time with Eiw. How is she supposed to react ? And believe me, I'm not a big fan of Rin. But here, I can do anything but support her. And let's stop considering all females in BLs are devils, just because they are girls, please.
Oh yes !
"But I still prefer Sher. He's cute. Fahlan is changing, though, so we will see"
Well, it's your right to prefer Sher.
Fah is, imo, a good guy 🥰
Dating since, about 4 or 5 months ?
LDR is no use in that case.
He is appeased, and you will notice that he doesn't incriminate his mother,
