πππ how ridiculous, just because she is much older than the original character but itβs called acting…
Oh yes I finished NIF and I feel like it deserves the reputation it has. I prefer every genre and every type of drama as long as it has a good story and NIF really hooked me till the end. Ngl, it was the only drama, out of all the cdramas i've watched that i liked from starting to end...otherwise all the other dramas I've watched start with a good pacing but rush at the ending

I haven't seen it yet...I just finished NIF and was looking for another drama to watch...and I was actually planning to watch dramas acc to douban ratings cus I found it more acc to my taste than MDL ratings....but I know there are underappreciated dramas in douban and MDL as well. So I came here to look for reviews...and after reading your views, I think maybe I can give this a try

aha I see...so with some improvements, it could've been a great drama...what attracted me to this in the first place was the fact that it was made with a high budget and the sets and costumes are very beautiful?
I'm someone who usually drops dramas very quickly or completes it by skipping more than half of it...I also find most of the dramas and movies overrated, especially classics...When I started this drama, my attitude was very judgemental, I wanted to see if the mighty ratings it got here and in douban are well deserved or not, and now that I've finished this...I'm so satisfied and happy, this truly deserves the unprecedented reputation it has. Definitely a classic and a masterpiece.
Everytime I watch a romance drama, I skip all the romantic and political parts but when I watched this drama, I was delighted that they didn't give romance much importance in its plot. It irritates me that some people are dropping this just because they find the romance lacking....I think it's pretty clear that it's a political and action drama, so why are they expecting romance in the first place? And also the ones who drop the drama in the first half will never get to see the true glory of this drama because this is a type of drama that gets better and better with every episode.
Does anyone have a good theory or explanation as to why this show is named "Nirvana In Fire"?
It's just my theory but the Chiyan army was burnt in fire and just because Lin Shu was burnt in fire and happened to be in a snowy region, he got poisoned by those bugs and got a new life...nirvana can be taken as rebirth here?
Right? I sat there and listened as if I were going to watch LBFAD for the first time lol. You have to watch her…
Oh yeah...the title of her rant video on IS was enough for me to stay far away from it and save my time lol...tbh, I wasn't planning to watch this one either but her first review on this drama was good so I gave it a shot...I'm really happy now cus this is the first time I'm liking a xianxia drama
OMG!! I just saw somewhere that this shares the same universe as CLJ and I immediately rushed here...ahhh....I saw the trailer/ video clip and somehow I feel like it's gonna be even better....Can't wait now
