Why on earth the Korean media and people are so forgiving for someone like Lee Kyoung-Young, but so unforgiving with anyone who commits other crimes or make mistakes and pushing them so hard in a corner where they can't escape. The guy was wrong, but he was supposed to remorse, go in hiatus then come back and rebuild his career. Korean mindset needs to change.
p.s: For those who don't know, Korean media is very forgiving with Lee Kyoung-Young who had sex with minor promising her to launch her career as an actress. And they couldn't forgive Lee sun kyun!!!!
I'm about halfway through ep 6 and this possible love triange (or awkward unrequited love i should say) is absolutely…
"Most love triangles in kdramas seem like the writer just needs filler and couldnt write an in depth or interesting enough story of just the two leads without throwing in someone else to buy a little time" What a perfect eloquent and simple way to put it down. ❤️❤️❤️ I need to watch a kdrama without Un-necessary love triangle.
Why didn't she publish the video of her assistant stealing from her? I mean she knew now she is not the coz of her so called attempt to suicide, so why doesn't she take a move against her allegations? The writing here is so lazy and characters' development is so annoying. Instead of taking a step to clear her name, she is going to a hiking trip!
I don't want any love triangles here please. Can't they just focus on healing and friendship? And that thing about her mom holding her left side of chest, nothing cardiac please.
So that guy is in every drama for last few years, and other actors who were just rumored to be bullies or anything else without any proof are gone forever!
Hahahah, I think they will over dose the Love triangle part...
That's what i was talking about, the overusing of themes. Theres has to be something from that list in each Kdrama in recent years: - Stalker - Gold plated steel fancy furniture - Bureaucratic feminism - Love triangle - Balanced lighting where every inch of the screen is well lighted. - Perfect makeup, outfits, cellphones...etc. Lookism is so important in Kdrama. The thing i couldn't stand in A time called you that it was so artificial, and the main focus was on romance, while in the original the friendship took almost third of the show which made it so warm and relatable. Go Ahead had those long conversations between the 2 fathers about raising kids and letting them go in life, i sincerely hope those talks won't be omitted in Korean remake.
Hopefully it will be a good one. Just don't add the overused Kdrama clichés as usual, keep it as warm and simple as the original and it will be a great drama.
The main draws here are osts, bgm and acting. That's it! Nothing else worth watching here, the art direction is awful, it's not the 50s, it supposed to be the 80s and 90s. The last episode was a total mess, and the whole thing is so lengthy, like really lengthy. 10 episodes would've been great and enough for such a lazy plot.
1- Ji Chang Wook is super hot and cute at the same time! A very rare mix indeed. He has the cutest smile ever. 😁 2- ML and FL share a good on screen Chemistry. 3- The group of friends is something everyone thrives for. 4- Ji Chang Wook and Kang Young Seok have beautiful deep manly voices. Fall nice on the ears. ❤️ 5- Nice cinematography. 6- please don't create any love triangles. 7- The mother is pretty annoying; she should've trusted her daughter without questioning. 8- BGM is dope. 9- Irony is that the one who stayed behind is the one who is most successful out of the five. 10- The 5 friends almost 40 and complaining about their knees and wrests, was the most real thing i watched in Kdrama for a long time.
