Yes, That would be the only negative point I would give, the lack of screen time not allowing us to slowly see their relationship progress.... I won't blame BOC for that cause they have 14 episodes, a story to complete and two other couples to develop, we would need a whole series with at least 3 seasons 😭
I get the disappointment about VP's rushed relationship (aside from KP and KC, I think their stories are so good ), it's radically different from the novel, they changed lots of things but I this point I think we should just separate the novel and the series. And for Vegas and Pete's story being rushed, I agree that ON screen, their relationship changed really fast because of the lack of screen time that have but actually we haven't seen anything, there are lots of scene that aren't shown to the viewers and their relationship changed OFF screen too (I mean Pete has been with Vegas for a few times now).
Actually, if I separate the novel from the series, I really like their stories and those who didn't read the novel might be actually satisfied about their story even if the pacing seems quite fast and could Make think that Pete has developed Stockholm syndrome.. And most important, Bible and Build's interpretation of Vegas and Pete is just WOW
