Why Only 3 Episodes!?

I think this series had a lot of potential...if it was longer. 3 episodes does not make a cohesive story arch, let alone 3 seperate ones. I will say, I loved seeing Perth and Saint play a couple again. I miss Ae and Pete so much! Though this couple (Pin & Son) they played was nothing like Ae and Pete, they still worked off of each other very well. Perth is a fantastic actor and he shows that again in this series in the final episode. Even if there wasn't much screen time given to showcase much! However, I appreciate that of the 3 couples the 1 that got a love scene was them. Thank you lol!

They brought back Mean and Plan as well, though this time around I wasn't feeling it. I enjoyed seeing them on the same screen, but the characters they played in this kinda sucked. Wish (played by Plan) had fantastic hair lol which threw me off because he looked pretty fine and I never saw him as attractive in LBC, but the character was pretty cruel for no contextual reason. Unless I'm missing something? Then Mean as Two was just really really strange to see. Two is kinda supposed to be a little dumb and naive, which doesn't suit Mean at all. He's better off playing strong silent characters. This entire series felt like a weird alternate universe of LBC and I was both intrigued and confused. Noh and Phun I have never seen before because Love Sick never intrigued me, but in this they were alright! I liked that they were pretty level-headed. I wish the series had gone on longer, but I get this was kinda just an actor promotion. I wish Saint was going to be in LBC season 2, but if there is a season 3 DON'T RECAST HIM or try to have Pete gone again! I'll be pissed and I want more of Perth and Saint.

Disappointing But 1000% Better Than The Sequel Series

"What The Duck" had so much promise at the beginning. I was actually really interested in each of the characters stories and was also anticipating Mew coming into the show (love him so much!) First things first, this show is shot really well. More cinematically than many other television drama programs. It also has a solid cast, though I wish they would've utilized some of them more. Like my man Mild Suttinut Uengtrakul, whom I know from TharnType when he played Techno. He's got such a presence on screen and his character kinda sucked, all of the side characters felt pretty weak.

I will say also I think Pree and Rambo's storyline overall was stronger than Pop and Oat's who annoyed me after awhile. I may be biased, but Pree was my favorite character in this show. Him and his sister Mo. They had the most common sense, they were likable throughout the show and they are both so beautiful to look at XD. Mew again got me with his acting as well, he broke my heart in this series and so did Art. Those two also went all out for this show, like dang that first scene of them was...something lol I wasn't expecting it! Though their story line was kind of a letdown at the end (the godawful sequel series made sure of that) it was interesting enough throughout for me to be okay with it. However, Pop and Oat never got there for me which is a shame because they had moments. I almost turned off the show though when the Oat sexual-assault implication was revealed, thank god it wasn't true because I would've never gotten past that! I would say overall watch the show, but expect a lot of plot that's unfulfilled and not a whole ton of romance from the lead leads. You'll get that from Pree and Rambo in a few episodes but that's about it. Also beware of the shows crudeness, it's frank and doesn't really bat an eye at it!

Melody of Multiverse Level Timelines

This was great, overall I would suggest anybody to give a chance. You'll definitely have to pay attention though, because the storyline can get kind of convoluted throughout. It was hard to follow at points, but it wraps back around so most likely you'll be on track by the end. I think Force and Book's relationship was semi-rushed at the beginning so it didn't hit quite as hard as it could've. But I understand with the lost memory and twists it makes more sense. I think Book did a fantastic job with the complex emotions thrown at his character throughout this plot. As well as Junior too, it was wild some of the things they showed in this involving mental health crisis. And Mark...anytime I get to see Mark I'm happy.

Never Forget the SAUCE

Holy crap this was spicey! I found out its a Korean BL distributed by a Thai company, so that makes it make more sense. Not that I haven't seen spicey Korean BL's before but this was definitely top 3 at least! It definitely had its issues with the pacing and the plot at points. But overall this was enjoyable to watch and I hope to see more from the main 2 in the future!

Battle of the Brain Cells

I literally had no idea what was happening in this for half the show. The plot is all over the place, so I only really followed the main baseline of the 5 guy writers guild as I called them. The visuals during the BL story conception parts were actually the best parts of the show. The rest of it was just random drama, oddly conceived romance development and strange round table discussions with pigtails and face paint.

The Sun Sets on this Show

I loved parts of this show and then other parts had me scratching my head so hard in confusion. Some of the traumatic plot points felt kind of unnecessary, like they would just layer them on and I was like okay thats enough! The romance was very sweet and I did enjoy this new pairing. Overall I enjoyed this one, just chill out on the trauma guys LOL!

Scammed Out of Both Mark and Junior for Myself!?

This was very wholesome by the end of it. It was very messy, very questionable if I would forgive either of these scamming men even after they were on their knees begging for me back. Either way I enjoyed it! This is what I mean by some toxicity to move the plot along is alright sometimes! I really did end up loving both couples, I originally watched though because I wanted more Junior & Mark. I really like them both and if neither gonna end up with me its gonna be with each other LOL!

Check Out All This Filler

Ya'll why was this like 95% filler? I'm used to any show having some semblance of filler to fill in the gaps or pad out episodes, but this was absolutely ridiculous. The first episode (or episode 0) was decent enough and then it just went downhill as it progressed. There's no reason for 5-6 episodes of this, let alone 12! No wonder I dropped it when it first was airing.

Showing Off My Bias

This was adorable. Kdrama's often have a higher budget than some other BL's, though they sometimes lacked in chemistry. This was not that, I honestly really enjoyed our leads paired together! It's hilarious that 3 of the main characters are actual idols or previously idols. Whereas the one playing the idol Kang Min is not, he's just a tall gorgeous model. You wouldn't know acting wasn't these guys first gig too, they did a great job! I think we were kinda skimped out on any real character development with our side couple, they just kinda intertwined with SiYeol and Aejun's love story. I know they're meant to be exes rekindling, but I wanted to see a lot more from them. The episodes were short so adding in some depth would've really helped the story for me.

Wandee Had A Good 4 MONTHS!?

Okay so here's the thing. Never in a million years would I believe Wandee's pretty booty wouldn't have the gays in the club swarming around him. So that part of the story took me out a little bit lol. However, this show was pretty good and I'm glad I got to see Great and Inn in an entirely different setting to Rati. The progression of their relationship was kind of slow, since their entire one-night-stand to FWB situation was like 1 day, then going to FWB to full relationship was over 4 months lol. I was screaming at the screen for them to just start a damn relationship for a couple episodes because it was drawn out. However, overall it was still enjoyable to watch overall and I enjoyed the chemistry! I also really loved that the show had some Ace representation! That's awesome and it combated the stereotype of ace people not wanting loving relationships, which is not true!

Read Rati's Memoir, It's Got Lots O' Tea

This show was beyond sweet. I'm not normally into historical fiction as a genre, especially when it comes to Queer content. Why? Because its always depressing. This however, wasn't that. There was definitely turmoil, homophobia, class debacles, etc. But the show wasn't overrun with it, and there was a happy ending! I loved the backdrop of I believe the 1910's? Seeing the culture and history intertwined into the story was beautiful. Our lead actors were great too, I hadn't seen them paired in anything before. So I'll have to check out their other series as well!

Would You Reset Time for Love?

This show was very good. Often time travel stuff can get extremely convoluted, but this wasn't too bad! I kept up with it fairly well and it wasn't completely out of the realm of possibility like some other shows have been. I enjoyed our leads and wanted to see them succeed together, as well as take down some of these trashy co characters UGH. I didn't wanna see Fiat 2.0, I really didn't lol.

Plus Cameos, Minus Chemistry

This show was the epitome of aight. The stories didn't really grip me, the couples were both okay. This show just wasn't really memorable, except for the numerous cameos from other actors in it. Which was hilarious, considering I reacted outrightly stronger to seeing them than anything going on in this shows plot! I saw Aaron and Hank from 'Be: Loved in House' which I loved. I saw Charles from 'HIStory 4' which was a callback to him working in the wedding industry. And finally WAYNE and HUANG from 'HIStory 3: Make our days count' which as many know is one of my favorite BL's ever. I almost cried seeing them, what random appearances by all of these guys! Either way, this show is worth a watch but there's much better Taiwanese shows out there to binge.

Where's the Depth?

This is what happens when shows are so short. They really lack depth, and for a show called 'Depth of Field' that's something I was really looking for. I did enjoy it don't get me wrong, I think it was sweet! However, there could've been so much more here. It kinda felt like 'My Beautiful Man' light, and not just because its set in Japan with a photographer (though that is so many coincidences lol). If we would get a second season or special, maybe it would really help the story! But with what we got, I was left wanting more for our two mains especially Hayakawa.

A Shoulder To....Cause Frustration

So again, BL's don't need to be super saucy or spicy to capture my interest. ITSAY is a great example, and its my favorite! This series though lacked a little of everything. Though I think the emotions were mostly there and I loved the archery element, what the hell were those final 2 episodes? The plot fell apart and completely lost focus. The main couple didn't really feel like a couple, it felt like two close friends. There was no kiss, there was no intimacy to be had. I wanted so much more.
